James' POV
When we arrived to Kelly's property, the lights in her house were all out. In the backyard was a run down looking barn. However, there was a light shining through the cracks in the doors. I opened my door to get out, but Lucas stopped me. "You guys stay here. I'll handle this." He said in a cold tone, which honestly frightened me a bit. The girls quickly agreed, but I argued that she's my sister and I'm going to help.
"I said, no. James, just give me ten minutes. If I'm not back by then, then come out. Okay?" I hesitantly agreed to him. It's obvious that he cares for my sister, so I'll give him ten minutes. Not a second more.
With that, he fled out the door in a flash. I've never seen anyone move so quickly.
