Kelly's POV
I watch from my locker as Lucas walks that slut to class. Why is he interested in her, but not me? I'm the hottest girl in school and he f***s me all the time. I don't understand why he is being so stubborn and won't commit to me. As I dwell in my pity party, a brilliant idea comes to me and I know just the person to help me.
I enter my next class and take a seat next to James, giving him a sexy smirk.
"Why are you sitting there? What do you want?"
Well, that's not the reaction I was expecting.
"I want you." I say with a wink.
"Don't talk to me."
What in the actual hell? Every guy I flirt with always gives into my needs. This may be a bit more challenging than I thought.
Ms. Smith walks in and begins her boring lesson on.. uh, something math related. I don't know, I'm not paying attention. Math is so pointless, when am I ever going to need it in life? I'm lost in thought when a piece of paper is handed out to me. A pop quiz. s**t.
When the bell rings, I quickly stand beside James and ask him how he thought he did on the quiz.
"I thought I told you not to talk to me."
"James, please. I know I failed and to be honest, I think I need a tutor. I hate asking for help, but I can't fail this class. Can you help me study tonight? It'll only be for an hour." I practically beg him.
His eyes are burning into mine when he finally sighs, and accepts.
I do a little victory dance internally because my plan is back on track.
Jame's POV
I don't know what this chick is up to, but I'm sure it's no good. I only agreed to help her, so that I can find out what her real motive is. After bullying my sister, and her reputation in general, I don't like her; at all. The fact that she thought I would even be interested in her disgusts me. Yes, I flirt with a bunch of girls, but I have standards. The first being that they haven't slept with every guy in the damn school. Second, not being a complete b***h, especially to Angie. Speaking of which, I should probably give her a heads up that Kelly is coming over tonight. Luckily, it's time for lunch and I'll see her in the cafeteria sitting with her friends. I'm so proud of her for making an effort to get along with new people. She usually just keeps to herself, but Emily is a huge blessing. Not only her, but Lucas. They got my quiet sister to break out of her shell, make more than one friend, and even party. I never thought I would see the day! I'll never admit it to him, because he would kick my ass, but he's such a teddy bear around Angie. She needs a man like him to protect her, especially since someone is out for her. Don't get me wrong, Angie can kick ass as well, but it's nice to know she has back up.
I decided it would be better to tell her alone, rather than in front of her friends. So, on the car ride home I explained what was going on. She wasn't too happy about it, but she said it's fine. That she would stay in her room, locked away until Kelly leaves.
It's not too long before the door bell rings and I go to open it. Kelly immediately jumps on me with a big hug, and I put my hands out to stop her. "We're not friends, so please don't touch me." I said as calmly as I could. She pouted, but didn't press on the subject. I lead her to the kitchen table where I had the class work and books set out. When we sat, I began right away to teach her simple methods of solving the math problems. As I thought, she had no interest at all. I felt her leg start to travel up my leg, and I swat it away. "If you are not going to bother learning, then leave." She apologized and pretended to pay attention afterwards. Soon she asked me where to bathroom was, so I told her upstairs, first door on the left. We have a bathroom downstairs as well, but I wanted to spy on her to see what she's really up to.
Kelly's POV
I make my way upstairs and head to the only door that is closed. I quietly and slowly turn it, which I find to be locked. Of course. I search my purse and find my compact mirror and slide it halfway under the door. I didn't even get a glance at the reflection as the door flew open, and a pissed off Angelica stood there; with her foot on my now cracked mirror. I swallowed the lump in my throat from being caught and also by how hot she looks when she's angry. Wait, what?
Jame's POV
I knew it! That b***h wanted to spy on my sister, but why? I was about to come out from hiding when the door flew open and my sister stepped out. I was shocked and proud of her when she yelled at Kelly and told her to get out of her house, now! Kelly didn't say a word as she got up and started to head down the stairs. Let me tell you, this girl never shuts the hell up, so for her to not even fight back was suspicious. I came out of my hiding spot and warned her to leave Angie alone or there will be consequences. She just looked at me with cold eyes and a smirk on her face. "Bye, James" she says as she blows a kiss my direction, then slamming the front door shut.
I hear the front door open and roll my eyes thinking it's Kelly. "Why was there a girl in the house!" I jump from being startled by my dad yelling. "What if she found out about Angie! How irresponsible could you be!" He was fuming and I decided it was best to just apologize and agree with him. He does have a point after all. The last thing I need is for Kelly to see wings protruding from Angie.
