Angelica's POV
Monday morning arrived and instead of my alarm clock waking me up, it was my father. He told me that I'm allowed to return to school today, but to please be careful. I assured him that I will and thanked him.
James and I were sitting at the lunch table with our friends when Mark walked over with a smug look on his face. "Enjoy your time now with your friends, because soon you will be a science experiment living in a lab." With that said, he walked away. I was proud of Lucas for remaining calm. I think it's because we all know that Mark has no proof at all.
The day flew by and Lucas offered me a ride home, which I happily agreed to. It was getting a bit chill out, but I still enjoy the speed of the motorcycle and wind blowing in my hair.
