As James drove me to my new home, I looked out the car window with a smile on my face, I was finally away from Ryker’s clutches.
“ It must have been pretty tough” James said trying to make conversation.
“ Hun?” I asked as I did not understand his question.
“ I mean in your old pack, to lose everything, “ James said which ruined my mood, seeing the change of atmosphere, James guiltily tried to savage the wounds he opened.
