Chapter Five EVAN A headache that’s about to split my head in two wakes me from a deep sleep. My inner doctor tells me I drank too much alcohol and should’ve had more water. I roll over, expecting to feel a body next to me as the memories from last night flood in. Peeling my eyes open, I place my hand on her empty side, which is cold but oddly still smells like her.
