"Why are you acting so rationally? You're a shameless woman, you should remember," Johnny spat out, still catching his breath as he leaned against the desk.
Lily Black met his fiery gaze with a mix of determination and sadness. "Johnny, I'm doing this for both of us."
"No, not for us. You're doing this for yourself," he retorted, his panting intensifying as he struggled to support himself.
Lily reached out and gently took hold of his warm hand. "Johnny, please, don't act like this. You have to stay calm and wait. We have to play our part."
A moment of eerie silence followed as Johnny turned to face her, his eyes red and filled with a passionate intensity.
"Why are you marrying him? I love you, Lily," he confessed.
Lily let out a heavy sigh, her shoulders slumping under the weight of their circumstances.
"Don't be childish, Johnny," she whispered
But Johnny erupted into laughter, a wild and deranged sound that filled the room. He shook his head in disbelief, sweat trickling down his face. "You're a b***h," he spat out, his words laced with both pain and anger.
Lily stood frozen, her eyes locked onto his sweaty, tortured visage. The venomous words stung, as he had never spoken to her like that before. She instinctively hugged herself, her demeanor taking on a defensive edge.
"Do you know how deeply I love you? And yet, you're going to marry my elder brother, using the excuse that it's for us," he continued, his voice filled with bitter resentment. "You've destroyed me, and now you're going to destroy my brother."
Lily scoffed, "Which brother are you talking about? Does he truly care for you? When was the last time you had a genuine conversation with him? Open your eyes and think clearly. He's not your brother; he's your competitor."
Johnny moved closer, gripping her tightly around the waist as he locked eyes with her, a sarcastic smile playing upon his lips. "Are you dying to sleep with him?" he blurted out.
Lily's voice quivered as she attempted to respond. "What are you talking about, Johnny?" she asked.
With a sinister grin, Johnny pushed her against the wall and firmly grasped her ample breasts. He looked into her eyes, his gaze burning with a twisted mixture of desire and pain. With deliberate intent, he began unbuttoning her shirt, the atmosphere growing increasingly charged with tension.
"Johnny," she gasped, her voice catching in her throat.
"Are you dying to warm his bed?" he whispered, his voice filled with a mix of anger and betrayal. As he continued to undress her, his lips descended upon her breasts, kissing and squeezing them in a tumultuous blend of passion and anguish.
"Johnny, please," she pleaded, closing her eyes, unable to resist.
“Do you want to get pregnant with his child to trap him forever?”
“Johnny”
“You know San Lu is the brand himself. You are going to mess with him, Lily.”
“Johnny, you are hurting me.”
"No matter how much you try, he is never going to climb you on his bed," he sneered, pushing her aside before leaving the hotel room. Lily Black stood there, covering her chest, watching the door in panic.
…
San Lu braked the car and glanced at the bar's gate where the woman stood in a white seductive dress. His eyebrows raised with interest. Mona Daly then opened the car door and settled into the passenger seat.
"Hello, handsome," she greeted him, her chuckle filling the air.
"Do you get into anyone's car?" he smirked, keeping his gaze straight ahead.
"I recognized the car and got in because I was waiting for you," she seductively smiled. San Lu looked at her, his expression unchanged.
"Do you want to drink with me?"
In the private suite…
Mona Daly sat in a daze, sipping her red wine, while San Lu remained oblivious to her presence. It seemed as though she didn't exist to him.
What was he thinking? Last night, he clung to her like a child, and they slept without any intimacy. When she woke up, the familiar sight of a stack of money on the desk greeted her. She hesitated to take it since they hadn't been intimate, but the fear of returning empty-handed prevailed, and she reluctantly pocketed the money before leaving the hotel room.
"Do I look like an alien?" His deep voice broke the silence. Mona Daly let out a sigh tinged with sadness and smiled, her gaze lowered.
"I don't know why I feel at ease with you."
San Lu turned his head and stared at her intensely. He sensed her inner sorrow, questioning why she was putting herself through this if she didn't want to. Mona Daly summoned the courage to meet his gaze, drowning in the depth of his eyes.
"Whenever I look into your eyes, it reminds me of someone I miss," she admitted, her eyes brimming with tears. Her heart felt heavy, and her chest ached. She didn't want to break down in front of him. San Lu slowly extended his hand, gently cupping her white cheek. Mona Daly raised her teary eyes, gazing at him with a sad smile.
"There was a friend in my school who meant everything to me, someone who never let me cry."
San Lu withdrew his hand and stared coldly at the glass of whisky on the counter, a hint of panic flashing across his face. Mona Daly let out a sorrowful snort.
“I know you have nothing to do with my past and my present but still my heart wants to share everything with you whenever you used to look at me.” She poured red wine into the glass and sipped slowly. Her vision was blurred and the atmosphere of the living room was typical and difficult. They had a lot to say a lot to share, but they both were silent, they both were panicked but felt relaxed because they had them beside each other.
It was almost midnight. The cold air was running inside the bedroom and Mona Daly was still sitting near the bar counter and staring at his wide back. He was standing at the door of the balcony while leaning on the railing. He was smoking for a long time.
Mona Daly frowned and got panicked because of his indifferent behavior. Tonight, he did not want to have s*x with her then why did he bring her here?
Just then, his mobile phone rang and he picked up the call.
“Speak” His voice was hoarse and heavy.
Mona Daly sighed and walked towards him. She unhooked her dress that fell on the ground and she walked straight towards the young man. She wrapped her arms around his chest and started unbuttoning his shirt. When she unbuttoned each button and placed her palms on his strong chest, he hung up the call and placed it inside the pocket. Till then, her palms reached on the buckle of his waist belt and she started unbuckling it. Just then, he gripped her palm tightly and she stopped.
It was grabbed tightly as if he did not want her to go more ahead. He pulled her in front of her and gripped her by her waist. When her soft upper body touched his chest, she realized that she had not a piece of cloth on her body.
“You don’t need to do this.” He spoke in a hoarse and low voice and took off his shirt. She was staring at his angular face in a daze when he put his shirt on her shoulders and covered her chest. He held her shoulders and looked into her eyes firmly as if he wanted to tell her a lot.
“You had not slept with me. Don’t you want to have s*x tonight?” She asked straightforwardly.
“You’re a woman for me, not a prostitute.” His answer was confusing and shocking. She looked into his warm and deep eyes and bit her lips. He was a strange man who did not want to grab the opportunity.
“Then why are you wasting your money on me?” She asked. He gripped her tightly and looked into her eye firmly.
“I want you to be with me every night.” He said without any expression.
What were the reason behind his cold behavior and dark aura? From the first day she started this dirty work, she was spending the nights with him. For the first two nights, she was drunk and was not conscious and even did not have the idea they had to have s*x or not but last night and tonight, when she saw his different attitude, she was stunned and moved.
“What if someone pays me more than you do?” She chuckled.
“This is my city. Who will dare to do this?”
Mona Daly could not handle his dark gaze and trembled slightly. She lowered her eyes and looked at his bare chest. He sighed and held her face in his warm palms and they looked into each other’s eyes.
“Do not repeat this.”
Mona Daly swallowed and nodded in a daze.
“Sleep soundly. When you will wake up, don’t wear that bullshit again.”
Mona Daly again nodded in a daze.
“I have something to do.” He said, left her, went straight to the dressing room.
Mona Daly walked to the bed and kept looking at the door of the dressing room. He got out of the dressing room and left the suite hurriedly in a black suit. Mona Daly was left confused and stunned. His personality was different and difficult to understand.
