Mac stopped in front of the men's collection shop. Mona Daly smiled and gently took his arm.
"I know this is a men's collection, but please come with me," she said, leading him inside. She asked him to sit and wait while she selected shoes from the display and placed them on the floor. Mac watched her with admiration, his throat going dry. He held his heart tightly, trying to contain his feelings.
