Callan’s POV I slept like s.hit, even with my shower time, my body was still hyper aware of Mackenzie in the next room, every sound around me had my eyes open, listening intently. When I open my eyes they feel gritty and sore, and it takes a few blinks to get them to focus on the room around me. Sitting up, I swing my legs over the side of the bed, rubbing my tired eyes before standing up and heading into the bathroom to do what I need to do. Coming back out, I change into some sweatpants and a t-shirt before heading out of my room, thankful that it’s Saturday today and I don’t need to be at work.
