Mackenzie’s POV ‘Thank you, come again’ I say brightly to the motherly woman, handing her a few coins in change as she smiles, tucking her box into her bag. Turning to the next customer, the last in the long line that has snaked out of my bakery door for the last hour, I’m surprised to find Hali in front of me, the blonde woman studying the case intently. ‘Hey Hali, how are you?’ I ask, grabbing a box and placing it ready on top of the glass.
