I found an old map that showed the ancient slave passage because they used them so as not to be seen when guests were around so I headed below the castle learning the hidden hallways and trying to figure out how the person got to the Queen's quarters without being seen. I have been working on this for a few days now and I have been keeping a close eye on Jonx, he will slip up again and this time, I will be there to catch him making sure he pays for his sins. I was leaving soon to attend Thorin's mating, he had asked me to attend so I put my investigation on hold for a few days. However, Piot was investigating the disappearance of a witch who came here from Volterra on business but had not returned.

I reached back from my long journey and I was lucky to meet Delta Thorin's mate, Lady Stella, she was beautiful and I congratulated him. Joe decided to visit us after he wasn't able to make it to the funeral of our late Queen, Piot escorted him to the throne room where Elijah was having court. I saw Jonx on a bench reading a book and I walked over to him as he was having wine and said, "Prince Kolie, how can I be of assistance?" I looked at him saying, "I hope you are behaving and not getting other young unsuspecting men killed," and he said, "Cashmere was a mistake and I felt horrible that I got him killed, I love Elijah," as he looked at me with a smile on his face and I could see right through it, I smiled saying, "Very well then, have a good day."

Piot called me out to the back of the castle after my meeting with Elijah to give him a heads-up on what little I found about the culprit or culprits. I didn't want to implement his lover until we had the proof and could link him to all the other murders especially since King Joe was visiting, this would give him closure into his family's murders. I went to a forbidden well at the back of the Palace no one used where Piot was standing and said, "I think I know how he got in and out without being seen," I smiled telling him to give me his theory. The servant seemed to have hidden it before being attacked and it had blood still stained on it, it was Jonx's dagger alright, Elijah gave him that a few hundred years ago as a birthday gift. I turned to say we still needed proof and he said, "Don't worry," as a rope was being brought up, I didn't even realize he had a man in the well. One of the men brought up a shirt that was burnt but not fully, there was no water in the well so it still had a few blood stains. I smiled saying, "Now we can link him to the Queen's death and once we figure out who helped him, there would be no denying it to Elijah. As the days went on, we came up with a way that he had made it in and out without being seen, we also had to prove he drugged Elijah somehow because he would have felt something was wrong with his mate. I headed back to my office to put the pieces together when I felt it, "f**k," I thought, and I knew I was running out of time.

I was summoned to Elijah's quarters, since the Queen and her spawn died, I was the only person in Elijah's life and I loved all the attention he was giving me.
