I was walking towards my coronation in the grand hall, and after realizing I was mated to the King and Queen, I was speechless until I had to defend myself about killing a Lord in his court. He released us and had the Lord investigated, it would seem that he was blackmailing the small town and forced Christie into mating him. Elijah paid off the family debt and she received any riches he had because she was technically still his wife now his widow. King Roman walked to Elijah with his Beta behind him taking some fruit off a try and said, "Sorry I am late but I didn't receive my invitation, Elijah." Elijah said, "Only people of importance were invited to my mating," and everyone snickered. Roman turned to see Queen Marion, King Emile, and his brother Jared, Levi stayed back to run the Kingdom in their absence. He was shocked that even King Barron attended who hated his ass, Princess Polly sat with her brother and he winked at her. Barron said, "Do that again and I will forget you are King," before King Roman smiled and said, "Relax, I was being friendly," looking at Piot's wife.
"Since you are all here, I need to renew the treaties since the death of the former King," he said, there were loud growls in the room. Roman smiled knowing he got everyone's attention and turned to Elijah linking him as he didn't want us to hear, but Elijah opened his link to me and Marie, he said, "Since your brother is mated to my daughter, I don't mean you." Elijah's eyes turned to the deepest shade of red feeling his anger, Emile said, "If I wanted to deal with you, I would but we are not here to talk about treaties, so unless Elijah asked you to stay, you can leave." Elijah signaled for Piot to get him a glass and he sat at the table with his Beta, Axel, Elijah said, "I will fill you in later, love," through the link, and Roman surprisingly behaved and had fun. As the night winded down, the Kings started to leave through the portal Queen Marion made, Roman was talking to Piot and his wife in a room. I felt a hand go around my waist and knew it was my husband behind me saying, "We need to complete the mating, my beloved," and I followed him and Marie to our quarters.

I was livid that Elijah didn't send an invite to his wedding and coronation of his second mate, I need to get him to treat me differently for all the other Kingdoms to follow. Elijah apart from Emile and Cayden have one of the largest armies in Ravena and I would rather they are all on my side. I know the wolves don't particularly love the vampires because they could turn on us in an instant, one of the reasons I get some wolves to flip on Aidan. The reality of it is, I rather have them as allies than enemies, I haven't gotten in contact with Dominic because although he may not have a huge army like the others, his army was a whole lot more vicious and deadly. Barron can be ruthless as well but I will have him under my thumb soon enough, Axel returned with a spell that a witch gave him so we go to the wedding but I made sure I used the spell I was taught by the Elders to contact Elijah before he took it the wrong way and killed me and Axel. I knew I sent my daughter to the bloodsuckers but they came in handy, I was glad I didn't kill her when I found out that her mother was pregnant.
I never told anyone about my daughter, not even my former best friends, as far as anyone knows, she is just a girl of status I used to bargain with Elijah for the treaty. I was going to let his men go anyway because I wasn't ready for war with Elijah, Piot was supposed to be at the coup but sent men instead, he would have been a bargaining chip but Kenna came in handy eventually. I found out about Piot going through Aidan's vault in his former office, Piot was Elijah's little brother born a few months after Elijah, Johrir had a mistress unknown to his wife that he sent away after she gave birth unless I am reading it wrong. Only Malvoc knew about it and eventually told Elijah who had him brought to his court and made him third in command, no wonder his aura was a lot stronger than the other third in commands I met, he was a son of the former King.
I interrupted the great dinner and I was surprised they didn't show much hostility towards me, so I took that as a good sign, I wanted to get under Elijah's skin a bit but he didn't take the bait. I honestly wanted to meet his mate who was a commoner before being coronated and looking at Jasper, he seemed quiet and mild, maybe I could use him in the future and play into his insecurities as a commoner turned Royal. After everyone was leaving, the talk was successful as everyone agreed to meet with me except Barron but I would work on him later, maybe getting a taste of his beautiful sister would change his mind. I went into a room with my daughter and we greeted each other, she was making me a grandfather and I was proud my plan worked. I asked, "Does your husband love you, Kenna?" Before she could answer, he said, "Of course, I love my wife," putting his hands around her from behind and I knew I had Elijah by the balls, his brother would do anything for his family even if that meant keeping Elijah in line to keep the peace.
