The hallways of the Universal Castle seemed even more maze-like than usual. Winter relied on his memories of the last time he and Bolt went to visit Aeno to help him and Blizzard find their way around the place. Unfortunately, the layout of the Universal Castle seemed to have changed yet again. They came upon multiple forks heading down long hallways that twisted, turned, dipped, and rose with no rhyme or reason. A few times they even ran into outright dead-ends and had to double back the way they came to go down another hallway, only to discover that the alternative hallway had been replaced by yet another hallway that looked even less promising than the dead-end they had run into.
