Chapter 30 - Present
"Who did it to you!?" Angrily, without even noticing that he was using his Alpha voice, William asked his Mate, slamming the door in a loud bang that ended up awakening his children.
The little Lucy without knowing what was happening, cried heavily, especially when she didn't find the teacher at her side like he always was every morning for the past few weeks when she woke up.
"Damn, Lucy!" And without caring that he hadn't replied to the Alpha yet, Jordan just got up, running from the couch to the room, making the bandage on his arm undone as he had forgotten to tie it in the rush. "Lucy, I'm here. Everything is fine. It was just a noise."
Reassuring her, the man said, taking in his arms the baby who was sitting on the bed as tears welled up her brother's eyes too
