Scarred and Rejected

Chapter Seven

The day went by fast and soon enough I was sitting in my room wearing my sports bra and running shorts, I missed my runs it was the only time I had to myself… Well most times. I stood in front of the mirror and looked at my body I have to say I have the body of a Victoria secret model and all the curves. Perks of being who and what I am, my father trained my brother and me and I was always better at it than Devon. I jogged downstairs to the kitchen were Esme and Charles were cooking up a storm.

"Hey I’m going to go for a run, I know I wont shift I promise love you guys," I said before running out the door with my music blasting.

I was listening to my playlist and at the top was Chris brown, who I love dearly. It used to drive my mother crazy. I ran more like sprinted through the forest, I stoped at a cliff and looked at the shining lights of New York. I ran at least ten laps of a football field before I decided to head back; I made it back and jogged to the front door. I still had my headphones in and Iggy Iggy popped up, where her most iconic song.

" First things first, I'm the realest, Drop this and let the whole world feel it, And I'm still in the Murda Bizness I can hold you down, like I'm givin' lessons in physics. You should want a bad- beep- like this, Drop it low and pick it up just like this. Cup of Ace, cup of Goose, cup of Cris," I sung getting all the words right.

I reached the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water and sipping it while dancing like Beyoncé. I was about to walk up to my room but stopped, as I smelled him.... I turned to see Esme, Charles, a blonde women, a man that looked just like Gabriel, and the devil himself. I choked on my water and hunched over.

"Frey, are you alright honey?" Esme said looking worried.

"I’m fine,” I choked out, I calmed down and stood there looking at them.

"How was your run dear?" Esme asked as she walked up to me and hugged me.

"It was nice," I said hugging her.

"Frey this is the Alpha and Luna of the Blood moon pack," she said as the women nearly tackled me to the ground.

"Your so beautiful just call me Tessa," the women said as she let me breathe.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Frey, I’m so happy that you have decided to join our pack. Any family of Esme and Charles is family to us so call me mark," the man said as he hugged me.

I got a good look at them, Tessa was beautiful She had beautiful blonde hair that was styled in a braided bun, she had Gabriel’s eyes and she wore a beautiful red dress. Mark was an exact image of Gabriel but he had green eyes, a stubble and wore a grey suit.

"Frey this is our son Gabriel, your future Alpha and I think you two go to school together," mark said and smiled.

I nodded and bowed my head to Gabriel; I looked up at him he just smirked at me the asshole!

"I’m going to shower," I said as I turned and ran up the stairs.

I ran into my room closing the door behind me, I ran the shower getting in and washing up. I got out and ran straight to my closet, flicking through dresses I growled getting frustrated. I stopped to breath and calm down.

'Time to put our plan in play Alex,' I said and smirked going over the dresses again.

I picked out a navy long sleeve dress; it hugged my curves and didn’t show to much as it stopped about one and a half inches above my knee. I laced up my black heels and blow-dried my long raven hair; I let it fall to my hips before Appling the right amount of makeup. Alpha Jackson, well Alpha to be. He made my body weak but I glared in disgust, he thinks he has power over me; well he doesn’t know anything about me. Looking at myself in the mirror I smirked and walked out. I walked down and walked into the dinning room straight away his eyes were glued to me, I could see the excitement in his eyes; he blinked a few times before looking away. I smirked and sat next to Esme and Charles.

"Great now lets eat before the food gets cold," Esme said as we all started eating.

The food was to die for, the flavours exploded in my mouth.

"Es this is delicious, you have to show me how to make this," I said as I nibbled at a piece of what looked like lasagne.

"Sure will then you can make it for your Mate and pups," she said I smiled and nodded at her.

"Specking of mates have you found your mate yet Frey?" mark asked looking at me.

"Not yet, but I met this boy at school the other day who wasn’t very welcoming. He’s quite the jerk and said some nasty things, but hey they’re just words, he basically rejected me and then left. I don’t think he ever had a chance with me any way,” I said and smiled at him.

"He must be a fool to reject a girl as beautiful as you dear," Tessa said smiling at me.

"What if he didn’t want you?" Gabriel said, looking at me with a serious face.

"Gabriel," mark said and frowned at his son who just stared at me.

"Its ok Mark, how he approached me and acted was unnecessary. A simple I’m sorry but this is not what I want, would have been better. Instead he chose to act like a tool, I don’t care for him and never will,” I said and smiled innocently and he glared and his eyes flashed black.

It hurt knowing that he didn’t want me, being unwanted was new to me and I hated that he did want me as much as I wanted him. Everything went quite, until Esme stood up.

"How about we have dessert, I made my famous cheese cake, " Esme said as she started to clear the table.

"Es I might pass, can I go out for a while I need to… Breathe," I asked she looked at me and smiled nodding her head.

"Ok just be careful and don’t be home late,” she said as I kissed her cheek.

"It was nice to meet you all," I said as I helped Esme clear the rest of the table.

"Don’t be a stranger now Frey we need to sort out a day that you come to see the pack house, maybe Gabriel can give you a tour," Mark said as he smiled at me.

"Sure," I said as I shrugged on my jacket.

They all stood up and hugged me, I just bowed my head to Gabriel but he caught my arm as I turned away.

"What no hug for me?" he asked with sad eyes.

I stepped forward and he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me in, I hesitated but I didn’t want his parents to think I was being rude. I felt his lips graze my neck, so I quickly pulled away.

"See you at school Alpha," I said as I turned and ran out the door to my car.

Why did he have to make this so hard?
