Shivering violently, teeth chattering, Mica stepped up onto the porch. Ditching the house might have been a better idea if you bothered to bring your keys along for the trip. Instead of driving off he’d stalked down the driveway and gone walking. Unfortunately the ranch sat some distance outside of the town limits and cold set in before he made it even half way. Searching his pockets he failed to find his cell phone, remembered it sat on the counter charging.
