Waiting is a human condition, like recharging, only it accomplishes nothing. And now we entities must do it, wait on the men to get up and moving. Waiting is the passage of time, but here on earth it’s compacted into days and more, as they have devices like the one beside the bed which apparently measures time. Not enough to enjoy light and dark. They must cut them up. Ak finally comes back to join me in the wait. We settle on Bill and enjoy the rise and fall of him as he takes in and expels air. Apparently this atmosphere requires going into and out of the people. Ak and I discuss this and he decides, “Maybe it’s the other way around. Maybe the people require the atmosphere.
