CHAPTER 13 AXEL I groaned and threw my phone away, feeling intense heat. I checked my face in the mirror, feeling flabbergasted. I was going for a stupid meeting with my dad. I wasn't interested but apparently, I was his first born which shoulders a lot of responsibilities on me and it was driving me to the edge. I heard a knock on the door and groaned out of frustration. I staggered all the way to the door only to find my beta— Logan. He was also my best friend, we went to the same school together. We practically get up together. “What?” I groaned. He was taken aback by the sound of my voice. “Are you alright? You should like s**t right now,” he chuckled. I rolled my eyes at him uninterested in whatever he had to say. “Thanks for the compliment,” I replied with hints of sarcasm. H
