I leaned back in my chair and stared at the ceiling. Everything happened so quickly and yet so perfectly. I had always lived a quiet, solitary life, but ever since Victoria came into my life, my world turned verdant and beautiful in my sight. Gone were the dull grays of mundane living. She had shined as a prism into my dark clouds, reflecting off the water of my soul and casting brilliant-colored light all over my world.
