Jaxson tenses at the sound of his little mate, he knows that he is in trouble, and he knows this is not going to be pretty, he will be lucky if she lets him sleep in their room after this.
“Heeyy baby. I was just-“
“Don’t hey baby me. Why is Sam out here with you guys when he should be with his proper age group sparring?”
“Well, he umm…”
“Geez dad, just grow up and tell her already.”
Jaxson turns to the other female voice and gives her a raised eyebrow and then she looks down because she knows she should not be talking to her dad that way, especially in front of the other pack members, he may be the old Alpha, but they still show him the respect he deserves.
She looks down and whispers an apology to him, then he turns back to Alex.
