[Lyall] All the changes I was making added to my work load, but I couldn’t focus on it because of that f*****g Dresden. It had been hours and still no word from Livy or Oliver. I was getting really worried. When I could finally focus, one of the guards mind linked letting me know my mother wanted to talk to me. I told him to let her know I was unavailable and would come when it was convenient. For a little while I felt bad, but he seemed amused when he reported back that he’d done as I said. Quentin stormed into my office and demanded to know why she’d been locked up and why he wasn’t allowed to see her. I sent him away after telling him it was an ongoing investigation.
