I woke up when Hunter was not around. Almost immediately, I remembered that I had heard a sound in the basement floor and once again, my curiosity took over. I jumped out of bed and the next thing I did was to head to the basement.
“Got you,” He interrupted me before I could walk through the door.
“What are you doing down here?” Hunter asked.
“I have lost my way. I was intending to go and use the swimming pool,” I lied.
“This house is really big. Next time when you want to go somewhere, inform me first,” He added as we walked up the stairs.
“But you were not there when I woke up,” I mumbled.
“Okay, last night after our moment, I somehow got to go to the city, “He opened up to me.
“Really?” I quivered.
“Yes, I wanted to surprise you with something,” He urged.
