~AIDEN~“I want you to set up more patrols around our borders, both day and night. Ensure at least two wolves are together at a time. I don’t want to see or hear of any single wolf out on watch.” My anger-filled words seeped through my gritted teeth as I looked down at the dead body of one of my pack members. Over Gilly. He was an excellent person and a strong wolf. How the hell did he end up like this, he was always on the ball. Something didn’t add up. I sighed as I looked away from his lifeless form. My wolf’s howl tore through my body as he paced my mind. He valued him, as did I.
“Yes, Alpha.” Jojo, one of my warriors nodded.
“I will speak to the Moonbow Pack when I arrive at the Packhouse too. We need to increase our numbers if we are to catch these bastards.” I said as my canines grazed my lips.
My wolf was pacing, begging for control. My left eye was that of my own, but I felt my right eye change to his. I let him stand beside me. I was as pissed off as he was, but I couldn’t allow him to take full control. He would kill anything in sight, and lately, that is all he wanted to do.
“Kieran, did you find anything else?” I shouted. My voice echoed through the dense trees that surrounded us.
My Beta stepped forward to stand by my side. “We found a silver arrow close by. Marko found some human shoe prints by it too.” Kieran spoke to my profile as I returned my attention to Gilly once more. He didn’t deserve this… No one deserved this... His mate… s**t, his mate. This will break her.
A low menacing growl rumbled in my throat as I pre-empted her pain and anger. I was even more pissed now.
“Let’s give this warrior some respect and cover him up. He will also need a proper burial.”
“Yes, Alpha,” Kieran replied, sensing that I didn’t want to talk anymore.
Those f*****g hunters. The air surrounding me reeked of them. We knew the previous outbreaks were at the hands of the savages christened hunters, each occurrence followed the same pattern and each wolf that was harmed had the same markings. It was always one wolf set upon, but never more than that. This made us believe it was a lone hunter, a do-gooder, an opportunist, and, somehow, the bastard always got away. This time though… This time, there were more, and Gilly had been killed. This was not the action of a solitary hunter, and the stench surrounding us was collective. The singleton we were struggling to locate, appeared to have some f*****g chums. f*****g brilliant…
I mind linked Tia, asking her to arrange a meeting with her brother for when I reached the Packhouse. Her brother Jarrad was the Alpha of the Moonbow Pack. Their territory met ours. They too had reported attacks taking place. Thankfully no murders were accounted for. Yet.
Why my f*****g pack though? We were the strongest pack in the UK. We had many alliances. So why mine?
My mind was filling with questions I just couldn’t answer. What I did know though, was whoever this hunter group was, they had a slow and painful death awaiting them.
I looked at Kieran and nodded, signalling to him that he was now in charge.
Turning away from him, I made my way through the first row of trees, and soon enough, I was in amongst the thickness. My feet started to quicken, taking me deeper into the wild. The faster I ran, the more my wolf urged to take over.
I finally gave in. I didn’t have the energy to fight him back anymore and it would be far quicker to run as my wolf than as my human form.
Bones cracking spilt into the undisturbed land where humans don’t dare to tread. Black fur started to cover my body and I began to take a back seat.

~WOLF~
A ball of energy full of hatred, burned within my body, forcing its way into each and every part of my physical form until it stopped within my throat. Tilting my head to face the fluorescent moon, I let go of a violent howl, releasing the high voltage charge into the sky above me.
I wanted to f*****g kill!
I needed to f*****g kill!
I needed the taste for blood, lingering on my tongue like the sweetest of perfumes. Or better yet, the taste of my mate.
The moss-covered ground softened the impact of my paws which pounded against the forest floor. Fallen trees and natural blockades were no match for me, especially in the mood I was in. Leaping cleanly over them just emphasized my strength along with the need to sink my teeth into something.
If only a rogue were to appear.
Yeeees, please appear…
Or the hunters who killed Gilly and his wolf.
Oh, now they would be just perfect.
Their silver would do f**k all to me. I’m from a long line of Lycan’s after all.
I licked my lips hoping my wish came true. Venomous rage filled my veins, as I imagined what I would do to the hunters if I saw them. I’d peel the flesh from their wretched muscles, limb, by limb and watch them beg for mercy. That would be just the beginning of their one-stop trip to hell. To my hell.
I continued running through the woodland and soon, the animal shelter cabin came into eyesight.
Hmmmm, humans… I could smell one, she was tempting me in. Could I kill a human? Sure, I could… My paws became lighter as I slowed, watching the shelter from the edge of my vision.
‘No! Don’t you f*****g dare!’ My human obscured my thoughts. I suppose he is right. I can’t kill a human, I’m meant to protect them. Hunters on the other hand. I would gladly rip their heads of their puny and pathetic little shoulders, human or not.
After a few more minutes of running, I reached the Packhouse.
f*****g great… She’s here. I f*****g hate her.
I could kill her instead. That would pacify me for now.
Snarls left my throat and saliva dripped from my fangs as I showed my teeth. I dipped low to the ground and started to slowly creep forward. I was soundless. Not even the leaves crushing beneath me made a noise.
NO!! STOP WOLF!! Urgh, get out of my head human.
I SAID NO!! I suppose he is right… Again.
“Oh Aiden, control your wolf would you. The death of me would cause an even bigger war and you know it.” I hated her goddam voice.
Who does she think she is f*****g talking too?
‘I wish she didn’t talk to us.’ My human answered my rhetorical question.
“I heard that.” She said as approached me, obviously invading our mind.
The snapping of bones pierced my ears as Aiden took control.
Screw you human.
Until next time Tia.

‘We are the same entity, Wolf, so don’t call me a human again… Or I will call you a f*****g dog! I cursed. I hated it when he called me a human!’
‘Okay, I deserved that one…’ He mentally replied.
“Tut-tut my King. Your wolf needs to be controlled.” She ran her tongue along her top lip trying to seduce me.
“What can I say. He’s not a fan.” I stood up, completely naked. Her eyes etched a trail over my body as she looked at my entirety. Her eyes stopped at my c**k.
“Mmmm… You know you can’t wait forever Alpha.” She licked her lips again. I could sense her arousal, but it did nothing to me and repulsed my wolf.
Timed to perfection, one of my pack members ran towards me with some clothes. I couldn’t tolerate her eyes on me for much longer which were still firmly located on my manhood.
“Took your sweet time Jack!” I scowled, snatching the clothes from his hands.
“S-sorry Alpha…Luna.” He nodded to Tia as he retreated inside the Packhouse.
“Oh, what a shame, I was enjoying the view.” She smirked, as she walked towards the Packhouse. A snarl left my throat as she touched my arse as I approached the entrance.
“You may be my pack’s Luna Tia, but you’re not f*****g mine. Don’t f*****g touch me again or I will happily let my wolf out!” I hissed.
‘Yes, let me f*****g loose!’ He begged, pleading with me to allow him free reign whilst I was begging him to allow me to control this. We had bigger things to deal with first.
A loud cackle escaped her vile mouth as if what I had just said was hilarious.
Without so much as a glance in her direction, I walked into the Packhouse and made my way into the great hall.
“Jarrad Luca of the Moonbow pack, thank you for joining me at such short notice.” I reached my hand out to shake his.
“Aiden Mulross of the Triton Moon Pack. I’m glad you requested me.”
