I could swear I wasn’t alone in my dreams. I felt a big dark shadow crawling over the window. It was too dark to see the face of the intruder, but I could see the edges of his enormous body. The voice that lived inside of me tried to warn me to open my eyes as if she could find her words around me only when I wasn’t paying enough attention. Right now, I was too tired to care. Death slumber ruled my body and there was nothing else I could do but succumb to it – it felt so sweet and alluring after the restless nights I spent for a whole week.  Soon, torn between sleep and reality, I realized I was not dreaming. Not really. There was screeching on the glass, and somebody opened the window, the cold wind bursting inside the small room. I was wide awake now that I could hear the heavy wet step
