Chapter 12 : Emotional

Jamie woke up to the gentle lapping of the sea. Surprisingly she felt very well rested as she sat up and got used to seeing nothing but darkness again. 

“Eric? Richard?” She called and she instantly felt the hands of her mates holding hers.

“Morning Fire Sprite, how are you this morning?” Eric asked as he kissed her on the lips.

“Hmm I missed the taste of those lips” Eric said 

“Well they do taste divine” Richard growled as he kissed her. Jamie could feel where this was going, but she needed to talk to them first. She broke off the kiss and could feel Richard stiffen. He did not like the thought of being rejected by his mate, especially as it had been months since they had mated.

“What is wrong Fire Sprite? Have we done something wrong?” Eric asked concerned. He could see Richards’s confused face.

“Goddess no! I just need to talk with you before I forget...you guys tend to have a habit of making me forget everything” Jame said. She felt Richard relax and Eric chuckle.

“I suppose we can talk....for a little while” Eric said moving his hand slowly up Jamie’s thigh. Jamie muffled a moan before smacking his hand.

“Stop it you rogue!” Jamie said seriously. She was trying her best to be mature, but her will was melting away. Dam my gorgeous mates! Get a hold of yourself women! She thought and both of mates burst out laughing.

“You know we can hear your thoughts Princess. We promise to be good” Richard said as Jamie felt herself blush.

“Now what is it you want to talk about?” Eric said with a business like voice. He knew that for Jamie to stop them mating it must be important.

“I went to the dream realm last night and met Niorun” Jamie said

“Niorun?” Eric asked

“The God of Dreams and technically Jamie’s Uncle” Richard said with a sigh. Gods involvement always meant trouble.

“Oh” Eric said. He was getting pretty use to such things since meeting Fire Sprite

“Anyway, we played chess and whilst we are doing that he told me about Raoul” Jamie said

“What is that Bastard up to now?” Eric growled

“Causing issues as per normal. He has bound Blackthorn and is now sharing his souls with the Demon of Jealousy” 

Richard scoffed “Hannya? That thick prick wouldn’t be a issue. The bond between him and Raoul will be weak”

“Male demons are so arrogant! Hannya is getting stronger by feeding off all the jealousy Raoul is feeling” Vanth mind-linked everybody.

“She has a point” Fluff mindlinked as he came out from the Vegetation. He had spotted a rat earlier that morning and had gone hunting.

“Least the Cat has some sense!” Vanth grumped through her mind-link.

“Hi Fluff” Jamie said as Richard growled 

“I be going to the Island in a minute, I just wanted to hear the rest of the update from the Dream Realm” Fluff mind-linked as he sat himself on Jamie’s lap in order for him to be petted. 

Jamie obliged before speaking again “Raoul is also working on joining his soldiers souls with chaos pit demons”

“What?” Eric said 

“The Gods be cursed, he is damming his own people to be consumed by a Chaos demon for all eternity!” Richard roared angrily. No mortal deserved that fate, not even Thule’s soldiers. Most of the poor Bastard only enlisted because they were starving Richard thought be angrily.

“That is basically what Lux said” Jamie remarked 

“Lux was there? Last night with you?” Richard growled feeling a mixture of anger and jealousy.

Jamie reached out to touched Richard’s face before saying “Calm down, please don’t be angry with Lux”

“Angry? I am going to  tear him limb from limb! He is suppose to look after you and you ended up almost dying!!” Richard roared making Jamie shrink back and Fluff hiss a warning.

“Richard, you are scaring her. Remember she can’t “ Eric said before thinking. Jamie was very sensitive about her blindness.

“Because I am blind? You think I am a delicate flower, because I can’t see?” Jamie snapped getting up.

“I didn’t mean it like that” Eric said gently as he got up and tried to hug her. She pushed him away feeling her temper rising.

“Yes he did! Jamie you are blind and not as strong as before. Why do you think I put Lux with you in the first place? You need to understand your body’s frailty!” Richard said continuing to roar.

“Here we go” Fluff said as Jamie snapped.

“You think I am frail because I can not see?” Jamie said quietly as her elements started to whizz around her sensing her mood.

“Jamie, calm down” Eric said seeing the sky darken and the wind pick up.

“Calm down? My mates think I am weak and nothing but a burden” Jamie said quietly. Her eyes were filling with tears as she felt like she had become what she most feared - a burden to her mates.

“NO! NO! Did not say that!” Eric shouted over the wind. He could feel how upset she was through their mating bond, Richard could too if he wasn’t so angry. The plants started to grow rapidly as Jamie started to cry. Everything that had happened overwhelmed her like waves crashing on the sea.

“Eric perfect cube now!” Fluff warned. Eric quickly cast a perfect cube as the sea swelled and a whole herd of Sea Mares burst from the sea and galloped on to land. Eric was protected by his cube, but Richard was knocked flying and Amon instinctively took over.

The Sea Mares circled round Jamie protectively whilst she was crying , whilst Amon took flight and Hovered over the Mares. If he came too close the Mares would rear or try to bite him.

“You dare get between me and my mate?” Amon roared in anger.

“Get back foul demon! You will not touch the Moon Child!” Mare Nubium boomed through her mind-link

“You were not summoned, return to the depths from where you came” Amon boomed back.

“Unless you want a interspecies war to break out I suggest you sort this out!” Fluff mind-linked to a still weeping Jamie.

“We felt her pain and we came. Pain caused by you!” Mare Nubium Argued. This stopped him in his tracks, and suddenly he could feel his mate’s distress and fear. She had been through so much, a dream parasite and a soul burning. Could he blame her for being emotional? It was in her nature as the Goddess of wild magic after all.

“Princess? Princess? I am so sorry!” Amon said suddenly concerned. He landed and let Richard take over. He walked towards the Mares who gave a warning stamp.

“Please, I will not hurt my Mate” Richard said gently.

“We won’t hurt her, please let us through” Eric said 

“It is OK my friends, thank you for heeding my call. Please return to the sea and be at peace” Jamie said and the Mares returned to the sea and disappeared.

Eric and Richard saw Jamie sitting with her head on her knees.

“I am sorry, I am not very good at this mate thing” Jamie said as Eric and Richard rushed over. She was soon sandwiched between two pairs of strong arms.

“It has been hard on all of us, we been apart for so long! There is bound to be some arguments” Eric said logically.

“But we love you so, so much! You are the reason for our existence!” Richard said 

“But I am so weak and useless” Jamie said

“Weak? You just called a herd of pissed off Sea Mares that sent me flying and gave me a scolding!” Richard said with a chuckle.

Jamie chuckled as well. She couldn’t help it, her mates knew exactly how to cheer her up! 

“ love you guys so much!” Jamie said as she hugged them both.

“Care to show us?” Eric said seductively. 

Jamie bit her bottom lip, something she knew drove Eric to distraction “why not?” She said as she crushed her lips against his. Eric groaned as he deepened the kiss and teased her tongue. Eric could already feel his c**k harden as she broke off the kiss. 

Richard turned her head with a finger and said “Don’t you be forgetting about us Princess” 

“Never!” Jamie said as Richard kissed her. She felt Eric kiss the back of her neck and Richard started to tease her breast. She moaned loudly as Richard and Eric kissed their mate marks on either side of her neck. 

“Hmm I think Princess is getting excited Eric” Richard growled

“Yes, I think she is...shall we?” Eric said

“Shall we what?” Jamie gasped as she felt her clothes be magicked away. Eric was getting to dam good at that! Jamie thought as she felt Richard lifting her up.

“Well Richard told me that you come so much harder in water” Eric said

“And it seems such a waste not to use the sea” Richard said carrying her towards the sea

“Especially, when it is just there” Eric said

Jamie grinned as three of them entered the sea, she was determined to pleasure her mates as much as they were going to her!
