My slave

Brianna's POV It all sounded like a shock to me. Fate kept hitting me, tied me down to such miserable ends. I couldn't find a bit of strength left inside me, and I could tell those threats were real. My parents were old, even though they are tough. I can't add more to their plate. I can't have them suffer for me. Although I was having a meltdown, I was already prepared for what was to come next. My mind was made up. I must face what I did. That's the only way. Then, I stood up without saying a word. I stumbled across the stairs to my room and started packing. It's the saddest decision I will make, but I have to see it through. I packed a few things. I didn't even own much because I didn't need much. When I was done, I dragged my luggage down the stairs. My parent's eyes were on each of my movements. Their sadness was replaced with confusion. “Don't tell me you are going?” My dad spoke first. He frowned while watching me. His actions looked as though he was ready to stop me. I knew he would, but I had to stop him first. “There is no other way. I have to go. I don't want anything to happen to both of you because of me” I replied with heaviness in my heart. “What are you saying? You are our daughter. We can't possibly give you out without a fight! No. Rather than going to him, you should run. Leave the city” my mom suggested. Her eyes were swollen from all the cries. She looked pitiful, and I felt a sting in the chest. “Mom… I have to go. It's hard for me too, but I have no choice. You said it yourself. He is a strong Alpha that won't let me slide. I don't see a place I will go where he can't find me” I spat. “And so? We can't let you go. I saw his eyes, he had hatred glinting inside them. I can tell he would be cruel to you” my dad replied. “Yes, I agree. We can't let you go. I won't. Even if you talk back to me, I won't. I won't hesitate to tie you up and prevent you from leaving” Mom said. I could feel their words. A painful smile appeared on my lips. Seems like they have forgotten about that fact and have to remind them. “Mom, Dad, I don't have much time to live. You both know the nature of my wolf. I can't spend my last day bringing sadness to you both. This is the path I have chosen" I said and they gasped. I opened up a painful wound, but that has to be said. They stood frozen while I dragged my luggage. I was almost past them when my mom grabbed the handle. I froze and turned toward her only to see more tears pouring down her cheeks. She didn't look like she would let me go in any circumstance. Dad was feeling the same. Though he was a man, tears were also pouring down his cheeks. I couldn't hold the whim to run up to them and hug them, at least I should say goodbye for good before leaving. I owe it to them. “Knock! Knock!” A disturbing knock came from the door, loud enough to disrupt the moment. I looked back and wanted to ask who it was, but the door was flung open. The force was immense in a way that the door came off from the frame. Fear took hold of us as we saw four men standing at the door. They had cold looks on their face and were hefty. “It's time to go,” one of them said with a husky voice that sent shivers. I felt the danger lurking around, and I knew I had to go. But, my mom wasn't still letting me go. “You won't take my daughter for me” she growled, but they flashed a cold stare at her. I wanted to tell her it was alright, but the men came forward and forced me off, my parents. My dad and mom cried. They wanted to drag me back, but the men were too strong. They even toss them out of the way just to get me. I was taken out and tossed inside the car. They even neglected the fact I had luggage to pick, despite what I said to them. I was in so much pain as I watched my parents through the glass. My hands stretched out to hold them, but I couldn't. The car sped off from their presence, leaving them with tears. I felt like squeezing my heart out of my chest. It was hurting. These men around me, I wish I could kill them all, but that would bring more trouble to me. There was no choice but to let go of the hate I have for them. My head fell on the window glass and I drifted into a long thought as we accelerated off. … I didn't realize how long it was, but it felt like mere minutes to me. We halted in a place I didn't recognize. I could as well call it the pack house. The men came again and dragged me out, and before I knew it, I was kneeling in a palace. The place was nice and adorned with so much artificial art. It was fascinating, but I had no time for such. An enigmatic aura suddenly blew past my nose, putting my head in turmoil. I became restless. There was danger lurking in the air and I could hear footsteps of someone coming. “Damien?” I called out in shock, but his lips curled up into a smirk. His eyes were still holding the same hate as before, making me filled with guilt. “I… I” I stammered. “Brianna, I hereby sentence you as my slave. You shall know real suffering and learn to keep your filth to yourself” he thundered and I went numb.
