Getting drunk

Brianna's POV

I slammed my hands on the counter hard enough to jolt the attention of the bartender.

“Three bottles of vodka please” I ordered, staring widely at him.

I could see the look of fear in his eyes with the kind of grand opening I did in the bar, but I wasn't concerned about that, all I wanted was to get my fill of booze along with my friends.

“Coming right up” he replied, and I walked back to the table to sit with my friends.

“You were harsh out there,” Adriana complained.

“Was I?” I asked, but soon after the drinks were lined up on the table, so I went for it. Though, I could still feel her hard stare on me, and it made me wonder why she was making a big deal out of what I made.

Hurriedly, I poured out a sip into the glass cup before me and gulped it down in one swoop, then I took another.

“You don't know when to slow down, do you?” Ava teased.

I could only smirk at her before taking another.

“If you don't join me you will fall behind” I mocked.

I see no reason why they were being hesitant after we all agreed to get drunk in this place. Or are they having a change of mind? That's what I thought, but when Ava reached for a bottle, I shelved all those thoughts.

“As long as you are paying, I won't back down” She smirked and raced me to some sips.

I couldn't let her get it all so I dug in too. Due to me being a wolf, I have a high tolerance for liquor, so I didn't intend to let her have her way, especially when I was the one paying.

While I was racing for the drink, Ava suddenly started moaning.

“Isn't that the famous billionaire called Damien?” She said, looking towards the door. Her eyes were full of sparks, and I couldn't help but want to set my eyes on who that may be.

When I did, just by the door, I saw an angel dressed like a human, standing and giving orders to people in the bar. His beauty was a thing of perfection, and I found myself almost choking on the last sip I took.

“Yes, that's him. He is looking as ravishing as ever” Adriana replied and my curiosity piqued.

I became winded and even forgot the remains of the liquor I planned to finish.

Then, I felt Ava's gaze on me and she spoke.

“I dare you to seduce him” she spat, making me infuriated.

“You don't think I can?” I smirked.

“You guys shouldn't even dare to try that. Look at him, look at all those guards swirling around him” Adriana warned, pointing our gaze back to him.

I saw five hefty men surrounding him, but that didn't make the sudden urge go down.

“I bet she's scared now” Ava pressured.

“Am not!” I growled.

“Then let's see you try” she grinned.

I became restless. Her mockery was indeed getting to me and if I don't prove her wrong, then I must have to get ready for more later on. Knowing this, I pushed myself off the chair and locked eyes on him.

“Brianna, stop. Don't you dare” Adriana was against it but my mind was made up.

I saw that charming beauty as a prey I would like to get my hands on and in time I found myself stumbling towards him in a drunken act.

Ava smiled while Adriana was worried, but I was gone already.

I moved in such an unpredictable way that the guards didn't see me coming and next thing I was looming over his body.

“Hey handsome”

I spat, my eyes staring deep into his while his cinnamon scent blew my nose to the point that my senses were disrupted.

“Who are…” he didn't get to finish before my hand landed on his lips to shush him, then my hand slid down to his chest, feeling his well-structured body with my palm.

“Get off me damn it” he shrugged. Knitted lines found their way to his forehead as he looked at me irritated, but I didn't give in. I was determined to lay my tricks on him, and he was bound to fall for it.

“Don't be like that. Why don't I show you how pleasurable my touch can be?” I tongue-lashed him while he gave me a shocking stare.

The guard quickly rounded up to drag me off, but I clung to his arm too tight, surprising him the more.

“Just what are you?” He yelled, showing off some dangerous aura, but It did not faze me. I could smell he was like me, a werewolf, and for that reason, I felt more glued to him.

“A good kisser” I teased and leaned forward to crash my lips on him, but he dodged. Why is he making this so hard? I was provoked inwardly.

“Let me go damn it” he tried to fend me off, but I was immovable.

“I can't, not yet. Not when those lips haven't fallen on mine”

“What? Where the f**k are you from? Do you know me? Do you know how dangerous I can be?"

“Who cares. You look charming to me, and I like charming things”

He fumed, his eyes turned cold at me, but I gave him a warm smile.

Already I could feel Ava staring at me mockingly. If I was to lose this bet now I would be a laughingstock to her, so quickly I advanced further. My hand found its way into his bare chest, going down, and I heard multiple gasps around.

Everyone must be shocked by my sudden move, and he was too. Little did I know that my move pushed him to the wall, and he started walking off toward the exit angrily.

He didn't even pay attention to his subordinates who were waiting for his orders.

Also, I could tell he was eagerly awaiting me to let him go, but I couldn't. Not when he hadn't fallen into my trap.

However, we both walked out of the exit to his parked car outside.

“Is this our ride?” I asked in awe after seeing the expensive car parked in our presence.

He didn't reply. His silence showed his disinterest in me while his movements were just too fast like he wanted to drop me off quickly, but I was becoming more persistent.

Just then, I reached for the doorknob to open it, but he raced me to it. The shock blew me for an instant, and he was able to slip away into the car before me and slammed the door.

I became stunned and tapped on the glass, but he didn't respond. I tried and tried, but he said nothing, neither did he open the door. The car's glass was tinted, so I wasn't able to see him through it.

I became frustrated, knowing I had lost. I have no way towards him if he wasn't at arm's reach.

Heaving out a loud scoff, I turned to the back to walk back to the bar, but suddenly a strong arm came wrapping around me and dragged me into the car behind.
