" You did good, doc. I am proud of you." Eden complimented me when I stepped out of the labor room after delivering the baby with a smile on my face. I was beyond happy today because I get to do what I really want to do. Eden reached me and scooped me in his arms bridal style not caring that the people and hospital doctors, nurses and other staff is around. This is my workplace dammit.
" Eden put me down. Everyone is looking at us. This is my workplace. I don't want to hear the gossips about me." I whispered into Eden's ear while wrapping my arms around Eden's neck for support.
" You are still weak. You haven't recovered fully. You should be thankful that I let you go and deliver someone else's baby when I want you in there on the bed delivering my baby." Eden said
