For a second, I’m the most terrified I’ve been in my entire life. I think that’s it, my best friend is going to get killed in front of my eyes.
But right before they make contact, two other wolves jump in, pushing Danny to the side, out of Diego’s way. I immediately run in to bite my best friend’s ear, standing between him and Diego and keeping him from getting killed.

Daniel doesn’t listen to me, he’s still growling furiously at Diego. However, with Levi right next to me holding him back too, he won’t go through. His older brother is growling at him as well, trying to get him to calm down.
