Ryder pov
I just realized I let her leave without an escort.
She just opened the door and left.
It's not like she could've left anyway.
And even if she did I would find her.
That kiss...
Damn.
I groan in my chair.
There this, itch in my chest drawing me closer to her.
I want her so badly
And I'll have her one day...soon.
Rose pov
I wake to the feeling of eyes stilling into my head.
"What do you want?" I ask, with my eyes still closed and my head buried in to the pillow.
I hear the floor creak as he gets closer.
Damn it he can't just let me sleep.
"Time to wake up sleeping beauty." He whispers into my ears.
I smile into my new pillow, retract my arm, and elbow him hard in the chest.
He gasps and puts a hand over his chest, rubbing it.
"Ow."
"Yeah, don't get so close, so early in the morning." I say, getting up from the bed, sitting with my hands on either side of me.
"Aw, you don't want me to smell your morning breath, don't worry I don't care." He smugly smiles at me.
I stare back at him, not amused.
"First, you're nasty. Second, I don't care what you think. Third, get out." I get up, grab some clothes, and head to the bathroom and he follows me until I stop and turn around at the door, not letting him in.
"What are you doing?" I ask, with the same tone from before.
"What you're doing." He looked at me with a fake innocence in his eyes.
I groan.
"Fridge off." I say and push him away and shut the door, locking it.
"I have keys!" he shouts, making me want to kill him.
"I don't care anymore."
It's too early for me to be dealing with his s**t anyway.
I use the bathroom, brushing my teeth, showering, etc.
Coming out the bathroom with my change of clothes already on, I see Ryder sitting on my bed, looking like a lost puppy.
What the hell's up with this change?
Why's he acting so clingy?
Was it the kiss?
He leaves me alone for a week after kidnapping me and now I can't get rid of him.
Ryder looks up at me and his eyes light up, and he smirks.
"Come on, we have to go."
I narrow my eyes at him and arch my eyebrow in confusion.
This can't be good.
"Where?"
"I'm going to show you my life."
"You mean, with guns and killings and s**t?"
"Yeah, so let's g-" I cut him off.
"Nope, I don't think so."
He laughs.
"You think you have a choice? That's cute, put your shoes on we're running late."
I open my mouth to protest but my words die in my mouth.
I really don't have a choice, do I?
Plus I could use this chance to run away.
With that thought in mind, I quickly put on my shoes and open the now unlocked door.
"Get up, stupid. What are you still doing on the bed?"
He looks at me suspiciously for my sudden enthusiasm, but gets up anyway and leads the way to the main exit.
Walking down the hallways, I try to memorize everything as quickly as I can, just in case I get locked up in this house again.
As he opens the door with his key, he looks back at me and stares.
"What?"
"Don't get any ideas, ok. You're mine and you're not getting away from me. Ever." He walks to his car, leaving me standing there trying to process his words.
Something about them was different this time, like he actually meant it.
And for some reason that scares me.
"Hurry up! Let's go." He shouts from in the car.
I collect myself and jog to the car.
Getting in the car, Ryder smiles at me and I turn away, hoping he hasn't fallen too deep just yet.
