Rose pov
It's been a week already since I was taken.
A very boring, dry week.
Ryder hasn't even come to visit me since he left me here last Friday.
I hope he's out there looking for a new "Queen".
Like I told him to.
I sit up in the bed and roll off it landing on my back.
I crawl over to the bookshelf and pull out, Romeo and Juliet.
What a funny story.
I know it's supposed to be a tragedy, but it always cracks me up.
I've read it once already this week, but what's a girl to do when she's bored and locked up.
I already destroyed the room. It's a mess.
Feathers everywhere with broken glass, and ruined walls.
It's perfect.
Bet they'll like that.
I chuckle.
I proceed to read the book when a random guy comes in my prison.
He's skinny and has brown eyes, and hair, average height.
Not ugly, but definitely not cute.
"The boss wants you." He says looking around the room, eyes wide, avoiding my gaze.
I move closer to him.
"Why aren't you looking at me?" I ask.
"Boss says dont look, touch, and think about you."
"And why's that?" I ask starting to get angry.
He traps me in here for a week then tells what I'm guessing is his gang member to treat me like I'm a disease.
This isn't school I don't have to tolerate this s**t.
I move even closer to him, right under his neck, crawling up next to his ear.
"What if your boss caught us like this?" I whisper into his ear, I see a faint blush spread on his ear and cheeks.
How cute.
"He-He'd probably kill me." He says sturring
I smile and back away from him.
I may be bold but I'm not that bold.
"Well then let's go." I say as he tries to compose himself.
I chuckle as we exit the room.
Boys.
We walk down a staircase and stop at one of the many doors in the hallway.
My escort opens the door and I step in the room.
Black and white walls surround me with a black desk, and a couple of chairs, right in the middle of it all.
With Ryder right behind the desk.
"Nice to see you, Rose." He says smirking.
"Can I leave now, please? Haven't you found someone to replace me yet?"
His smirk falls.
"You're not going anywhere until you agree."
"But I really don't want to-"
"Why the f**k do you keep staring her?"
He cuts me off, talking to my escort.
I turn to look to the side of me where he stands, leaning on the wall.
He quickly gets off the wall and turns to his boss.
"I'm sorry, Ryder." He states, slightly shaking.
"Sorry? You will be sorry. She's mine. Stop looking at her." He says, raising his voice, and getting up from behind his desk.
Is he really yelling at him for looking at me?
He needs to chill out.
"I'm not anyone's, Ryder, and it's not that serious, sit back down so we can talk." I say crossing my arms and leaning on one leg.
He looks at me and then my escort.
"Get out, Jason."
I look back at my escort, Jason, as he hesitates.
"Boss just let me-" he starts but is cut off by Ryder.
"Now."
He hangs his head and leaves the room promptly.
I go to sit in one of the chairs in front of the desk.
"So, can we start now that you're done being dramatic?"I ask, smirking.
He smirks back at me.
"Sure."
