November 19, 2018. Saturday. Oliver and Mariam attended the wedding of Marius and Noemi. Mariam was able to meet the rest of the mother's side of the family of her husband. Maram was formally introduced to Sylvia Quirino-Gozon, the mother of Marcus and Marius, and also the best friend of Oliver's mother.
Their interaction went like this after the introductions made by Dona Ofelia between them.
After the introductions and pleasantries, Aunt Sylvia said, "I just got home from my visit to my daughter in Canada but I have heard so much about you already, Yam. All I can say is that if Des was still alive, then I am sure that she would be very delighted to have you as a daughter-in-law."
