I woke up in my room with someone snuggled against me. I lifted my head a little, to see Shane’s sleeping face. He looked so peaceful. A small smile made its way to my lips, but it disappeared as fast as it came as I heard a voice in my head.
‘Isn’t our mate just perfect?’
Okay, I must officially be going crazy, I thought while rubbing my face with my hands.
‘No, no you’re not. You shifted for the first time yesterday and here I am.’
“Wait so that wasn’t a dream?” I asked the voice out loud
