"I LIKE YOU." I SAID TO MY BEAUTIFUL neighbor who passed by in our lawn. I was raking the dried leaves outside when she happened to passed by.
In the age of seven, I already like someone and she was the beautiful girl next door. Our houses were only a meter away and every time I had the opportunity to talk to her, I always say what I really wanted to say. I wanted her to know my feelings and hoping for her also to say the same.
I smiled widely when she shyly smiled. "Thank you." Jolie said.
Thank you, that's the only answer I got from her, ever since we were on grade school, and even until middle school. And one of the things that I like about her is that she always tops the whole school as one of the most intelligent student which made me so proud of her. I even boast that we're neighbors.
But when we reached high school, she become obsessed on studying harder because someone stole her spotlight dragging her to the second place, which was already a pit for her. I don't really care if she's in the second place, but for Jolie, it was a very big deal.
I believe in her but I heard that the top one student was a four eyed genius and he excels at everything he does. If it was me, it doesn't matter how much grade I got as long as I'll pass the subject.
I slammed my locker shut and walked faster to my room when I saw a group of students looking at the bulletin board. A day has passed after our quarterly exam and I bet those students were looking at the list of top students. Our school always post the top twenty students who had the highest grade every level after major exams.
I slipped between the crowd of students then jogged to the room. Maybe I'll check it later. Part of me was hoping that Jolie will be on top. I would love to see her smile for achieving her goal.
First subject was History and I hate listening, memorizing names of dead people, and also the dates—specially the dates— because my brain's not good at memorizing. Yeah, I blame it to my brain, I always do.
When the bell rung, I stood immediately and went outside with Peter, my close friend.
"I gotta check the board first." I said pointing my thumb to the board's direction.
"Okay, I'll go with you." He said. "I heard four eyes was still in the first place, as always."
"Really?" I looked at him. I'm not surprised anymore. When we reached the board, my eyes focused at the name who had the biggest average grade in second quarter. Arthur Dane, and seriously, I never heard someone who reached A+, ninty-seven point eight average grade, except for him. I only have eighty-three this quarter and Jolie, who was still on the second place had ninety-four point eight which was so, so far from him. He's the real deal!
"I even heard that he doesn't study at all." I heard Peter said when I felt someone stood beside me and also checked the board. "He's a gifted guy. Maybe he had Einstein's brain transplanted into his head!" Peter said and I chuckled saying "yeah" before I rolled my eyes to check who was the person a meter away from me.
I was so surprised when I saw who the person was making me elbowed Peter and mouthing him to shut up. I looked back at him and he was already walking away.
It was Arthur Dane but I heard people call him Art, so I'm also calling him Art. He was checking the board!
I wondered how does he feel to have an almost perfect average. He must feel so proud about it. Just looking at his eyeglasses made him looked like a genius, he doesn't looked like a nerd at all and judging from his aura, he reeks knowledge and confidence. And the only thing that really bothered me about his appearance was his hair, his long bangs were blocking his eyes as if he doesn't want someone to look straight into his eyes.
But I saw one thing from him, something making me curious.
He had put a fvck off, leave me alone barrier around him. I could feel it.
"Do you think he heard me?" Peter said.
"Hell yes, Peter. Congratulations." I said before I walked to our next subject.
"Fvck you, Scott!"

WE WERE heading to the cafeteria when someone grabbed my arm dragging me a few meters away from Peter who looked curiously. Jolie threw my back on the wall and pinned me with her hands placed on either side of my shoulders. She's a 5ft11 and she need to raise her head to look at me because I'm 6ft3. Passing students were looking at us.
I felt excited. I couldn't help it when my crush's trying so hard to pin me in the wall. She was wearing a black blouse and white skirt with her hair in a pony tail. She looked elegant with her simple outfit.
"Wow." I said, amused.
"I want you to come to my house tonight. I got something to tell you." She whispered and stood straight.
I raised a brow. It's the first time she invited me on her house ever since high school! My God! This is it! "Something?" I said and she just smirked making my d**k twitched.
"Something you can't refuse." She said and left me horny.
Something I can't refuse. I wondered what it will be. Maybe s*x, surely I can't refuse it. Hmmm.
"Wake up, dream boy!" I heard Peter said, snapping me from my train of thoughts. "You having lunch or not?"
"Yeah." I beamed. I felt like no one or something had a power to ruin my great day, no matter how crowded, busy, noisy, and no tables were available at the cafeteria that lunch.
It's still a great day.
