CHAPTER 7
Rory walked into the ‘War Room’ that Wade had built a few years ago in the rear of the Auto Garage. Sighing, he made his way over to his desk that sat against the wall with the twenty monitors and began turning everything on. After booting up his computers, Rory turned and headed to the little kitchen attached and put on a pot of coffee.
He felt wiped out and was angry with himself for not getting more sleep. After the late night with Donny, his mates, and everything else, he had tried to get some sleep, he really did, but only after getting a half hour, the nightmares started. Then that was followed by two hours of tossing and turning, then sitting by the window and staring out over the backyard watching the sunrise.
