The workweek crept in quicker than anybody would have preferred. The lack of conversation between Lori and Aubrey proved that the two were entirely too busy to truly entertain one another. Monday turned into Tuesday, Wednesday turned into Thursday, yet Thursday would linger around refusing to allow Friday its turn.
Aubrey shuffled through several papers on his desk after a year of being in the office he expected everything to officially be in his name at the beginning of the year but January was pushing into February and there were still paperwork in departments that had to be settled, being frustrated was an understatement, being on someone else's time was something he never cared for and made sure he avoided, but the process in which legal business had to be done would humble him greatly.
"Vanessa. Can you come here, please?" His deep voice echoed through her office from the phone speaker as he demanded her presence.
Vanessa would also be a woman who stopped, dropped, and rolled on Aubrey's command, only she was being paid a very hefty salary to do so, not sexually involved with him whatsoever, s****l favors and kinks were not her things and Aubrey respected it, but spending nine hours a day, five days out of the week side by side it was kind of hard not to develop a close caring relationship, in a sense she had become more than just a personal assistant, she had become the sibling he never had, she had become someone to vent to, a therapist, she knew his secrets, she knew about his kinks, she knew about the harem of women he had, he knew about her boyfriend problems, her love life and lack thereof, even offering to cut her days down so she could enjoy what little love life she had but she quickly rejected the offer.
"Yes, Aubrey?" She peeked her head through his office door, eyes widened as she set them upon his desk her mouth open in shock. "OH MY GOD! ARE YOU SICK!? ARE YOU OK!?" She exclaimed rushing through the doors towards him.
His desk was completely covered with papers and folders, unable to find what he was looking for. Vanessa grew concerned, of all the days she spent by his side nothing was ever out of place, everything matched and color-coded, items placed in line from smallest to largest, once he found a product he liked he never changed it, from pens to glue, even a certain type of printing paper he required all departments to use, his OCD forced him to care for only even numbers, anything odd made his skin crawl and the whole project would be scrapped. Aubrey looked up at her, he was irritable, annoyed, tired, frustrated, every feeling that made for a bad day. Vanessa quickly and eagerly began collecting papers and placing them back in their folders, knowing the sooner she got the chaos away from him the sooner he'd be able to properly think.
"There's four pieces of paper! They all have the out-source Real Estate companies that we used"
"Aubrey?... what?"
"My father did business with them and I need the paperwork." He reached past her for several papers trying to read them.
"Aubrey! Stop!" She turned his chair around so he was no longer facing the messy desk. "Ok, what are you looking for?"
He licked his lips. "Two years ago my father bought two buildings from Jay&Ell Real Estate, he kept them on file just in case he wanted to do more work with them, their contract ended last year before I took over. I need that contract." He finally said giving out all the proper details.
"Ok, I will look for this file and you will step out of this office and walk somewhere else in this building."
He rolled his eyes but stood up from his seat, he shoved his hands in his pocket and took even strides towards the door walking out of his office, Vanessa grabbed his chair and sat down in it, shaking her head as she began looking through the mess on his desk, two brown boxes on the floor where she assumed the old paperwork came from, she sighed as she began searching for papers with a certain date on it. Finally reaching for what Aubrey had been anxiously searching for, a single piece of paper with Jay&Ell typed across the top of it, their names, number, and other contact information the contract in which they agreed upon, she looked over their credentials since working with RGE, Dennis has kept a basic collection of their success in attempts to work more with the women.
Vanessa picked up the phone and dialed Aubrey's cell number.
"Hey, I found it!"
"Ok, I'm coming back!"
She hung up the phone and looked back down at the paper she shrugged then began cleaning up the rest of the loose paper,
"Where's it at!?" He said rushing through the doors.
"It's right here!" She handed him the small stack of out of date paperwork.
"f**k! Thank you so much! You are everything!"
"Why you need that stuff so bad? What's going on? What you got planned?"
He looked down at his watch. He was anxious clearly pressed for time. "Nothing! I have nothing planned."
"You are such a bad liar, it's almost funny."
He rolled his eyes. "I have business planned. That's what I have planned."
He was short in his reply, as usual. Vanessa shook her head as she watched him pace back out the office with the paperwork in hand, she went back to neatly placing the scattered papers into the boxes, fixing up his desk back to the way he liked it.
Thursday had finally let up, early February would barley offer any sunlight throughout the day before you knew it it was five o'clock and pitch black outside. There was no wonder people got depressed during the winter. Aubrey pulled the doors open of the familiar building, he but down on his bottom lip and hit the elevator door button, it quickly allowed him access to the floor of his choosing. He stopped at two and stepped out. He was calmer, his anxiety was no longer rearing its ugly head, he no longer felt like he was boxing with time to get something done, he was back in control of himself and his surroundings.
He looked around the sleek office, Glass was the common running theme, there was no privacy, no hidden blind spots for hiding, it was bright even with no light outside to help, the walls were glass reinforced by four shiny stainless steel metal framing for each box-shaped office, their office doors were glass, all you had to do was stand up in your seat and look through the walls to see if someone was in their office or not. It was quite, phones had gone silent, most of the office had gone home, a few scattered employees here and there finishing up their last-minute projects. Janet looked up, then sat up straight in her seat as she watched Aubrey walk passed her office in search of who she assumed to be Lori, she shook her head and laughed knowing she was right about their blossoming friendship.
He knocked at her glass door, her name and title perfectly etched in the glass at eye level, he sent a single wave at her once she looked up, she smiled brightly at the random drop-in and eagerly waved for him to come in as she stood up and walked around her desk to greet him.
"Well look what the cat dragged in! What are you doing here!?" She asked genuinely sounding surprised.
He stepped closer positioning his arms for a hug, she immediately caught on making her hesitation look natural she reached for his shoulders wrapping her arms around them, he easily pulled her closer against his torso with one arm finding its way around her small waist, he took a deep breath in, a mixture of nose-pleasing scents that came along with being in close proximities to her. He released her from his grasp, but not willingly, it had been several days since physically placing eyes on her, there was separate texting throughout their busy week but Aubrey had hit a wall, a plummeting urge to look at her, smell her, touch her began to take over him after the third day of no contact. Even with his regular subs throughout the week he was beginning to feel unsatisfied and was growing frustrated at not knowing why.
"I came for two reasons. I'm not interrupting anything am I?"
"No, not at all! Come sit! Do you want anything to drink!?"
"No, no I'm fine. Thank you though." Aubrey followed her across the office to the small intimate sitting area. "The first reason I came was to give you this." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a five and a ten-dollar bill neatly and evenly folded into one another and handed it to her. She laughed as she unfolded the money looking at it.
"I was wondering when you were going to pay up!" She said folding it back up and sliding the money into her back pants pocket. "I was beginning to think you were a sore loser!"
"I am!" He chuckled "But, I always keep my word."
Lori laughed and shook her head, she sat down crossing one leg over the other, resting her elbow on her knee and her chin in her hand, getting the perfect view of him unbuttoning his suit jacket to comfortably sit down across from her, she trailed his body starting at his shoes, once again black and shiny, she didn't know his shoe size but they were large very telling of other things, his tailored suit was a deep navy blue, a fitted black turtleneck, and a simple gold chain layered on top of it, she hadn't seen the current watch fitted to his wrist assuming it was new or he decided to finally wear that particular one, it was similar in style to the others she had seen, a single gold ring on his right ring finger, he was simple but so well put together. Lori smirked feeling that awkward tension that always blanketed her around him, he too would stare, not realizing he was staring until she finally began speaking.
"You said you had two reasons."
He blinked several times and took a deep breath, her voice interrupting his thoughts of what he truly wished to do with her.
"Right!" He licked his lips. "I was planning to get rid of all the outside source business we did, especially if we already have a department in that particular subject, figured we keep it all in the family."
Lori nodded her head. "That makes sense."
"But when you spoke about working with my father I couldn't help but be nosy. He was a very particular man and didn't just work with anybody, he clearly trusted your opinion for you to be one of the four companies to work with him so I wanted to offer you and Janet a business deal. Possibly resign and extend your contract with RGE, maybe even merge Jay&Ell eventually... one day. Your company will be the only company we work with in real estate properties." Aubrey leaned forward placing a thin stack of paper on the small table in front of her. "This is a copy of the old contract, I wasn't sure if you still had yours on file, and hers a copy of the new contract. You can compare and contrast if you want to negotiate some things? We can. The numbers, percentage, and salaries are on page... they're after page two."
Lori had remained speechless at the offer, she wasn't sure what to say, all she could do was listen to him. She pressed one hand to her forehead and flipped open the folder looking at all the new information.
"Oh... wow... ok! Whoa uh... that!... is a lot of zeros!" She awkwardly laughed as she grabbed the back of her neck and squeezed it, she took a deep breath as she continued staring at the numbers.
Aubrey laughed. "You don't have to give me an answer right away, I'd expect you and Janet to look over it and let whoever you need to see, then come to your own choice. But, the deal is on the table until you do give me an answer. Take all the time you need."
Lori looked up at him again realizing her company was the only company he planned to offer this deal, she had no competitors. Her facial expression had completely shifted, she had gone emotionless, hard to read, she was no longer smiling, her eyes had become focused, the hazel darkened, she closed the folder as she kept her focus on a confused Aubrey, her elbow went back to her knee, her hand grabbed the side of her neck. Aubrey grew nervous silently worried she was going to turn down his offer right then and there, he masked his concern from her, keeping a poker face as he looked back at her.
"May I ask you a personal question?"
"I may or may not answer, but you are more than welcome to."
She licked her plump bottom lip and sat silently, his reply alone was telling and she was debating on whether or not to overstep.
"How long have you been a Dom?" She softly asked.
Aubrey grew stiff, his jaw clenched, his teeth tightened behind his pressed lips, his nostrils flared. He swallowed hard. "Before I answer. May I ask... how did you find out?"
She shrugged. "It's obvious. The way walk, the way you talk, what you choose to talk about, and how much you choose to reveal about it, The way you tensed up when I touched your arm without permission last week in the bookstore, that little test you gave me at your restaurant three weeks ago. Telling me to take an extra sip of water. You wanted to see how well I take direction... if I'd listen to you and just do it... you insisting your driver take me home so you'd have my address and know for a fact I got in safely. You are possessive and controlling... I can tell you play hard on sensory." Her voice grew low and raspy a turn on that Aubrey didn't realize he like until he sat across from her listening to her blowing his secret.
"You're very observant."
Her stare grew intense. "It's a gift and a curse." She said repeating the same words he once spoke.
"I dated a girl 10 years back that preferred a specific type of s*x and interaction, I liked giving her that specific type of s*x and interaction. Turns out being a Dom came naturally to me." Aubrey removed his leg from over his knee placing his foot firmly to the ground, he slowly sat up placing his elbows to his knees and leaned forward. "Your turn." He spat back almost in a demand.
"Seven years ago in college. I dated a guy that thought he was an Alpha, he was more of a Beta doing what he thought Alpha men did. It did work, we broke up, I stayed in the lifestyle for three more years learning how a real Dom should treat his Sub or Little. Unfortunately, I never found a real Dom that wasn't egotistical and selfish and because I knew the difference in an Alpha Male and a Beta Male I wasn't going to settle. So, I stopped and became celibate."
Aubrey grew stiff at her explanation, the crotch of his pants tightened as he was unable to remove his eyes from her, he grew fidgety cracking his neck, and knuckles as a mean to calm himself, he took a deep breath getting himself under control and at a place where he could finally reply back to her.
"Celibate for four years?"
"Yes."
"No, oral? No self-pleasure? No penetration of any kind?"
"None."
Aubrey took another deep breath through his nostrils, his mouth began to salivate, the more she confessed the harder his d**k got, the thought of her not being touched in so long, the thought of how tight she possibly could be, the fact that no man could get as close to her as he possibly could, the training he could do to mold her into literally the perfect Submissive was eating at him, adrenaline-rushed from his head to his feet, he had to cover his excitement considering that she did not technically belong to him and he could not just approach her in a manner that she did unless she asked him for it. He sat quietly debating on his next few words. She knew all along and if she did listen to his following set of instructions it was a notion to him that this was more than an offer.
"Have you eaten dinner yet?" He random asked. Lori frowned, the question was far left she was no longer able to calculate his questions.
She licked her lips and blindly moved a piece on their verbal chessboard. "No."
"Come stand in front of me."
She hesitated, her immediate reaction was to look around, the glass walls of the office left nothing to the imagination and the little number of co-workers left behind still sat at their desks and walked throughout the building. Aubrey sat patiently his eyes practically burning a hole through her. He knew what he was doing, what he was asking her to do, he was fully aware of the distant company that could see them with no trouble and at any moment if needed they could walk in. He was calm no extra-base or entitlement added to his tone assuring her that it was no demand and that she had the option to reject his instructions if she felt uncomfortable. He watched her slowly stand and take the few steps it took to stand in front of him, her eyes no longer on him but looking around the office instead. Aubrey pressed his back to the couch and spread his legs open.
"Step in between them." Another calm request. She very much knew the difference between the tones, she slowly took the single step to position herself between his muscular thighs. "Position yourself on your knees, in front of me, between my legs." He could tell she was growing anxious the more he requested from her, drawing his request out building up the momentum, her heart beat so fast she began to worry if it was normal, she wanted to, she wanted to place herself between his thighs but the people walking around the office were making her nervous, Aubrey remained calm on the surface as he patiently waited and mentally prayed that she'd follow his request. Lori finally ducked down placing her small frame between his legs, he let out a sigh of satisfaction, her simply following the direction the way she did was sending blood straight to the tip of his d**k faster than it ever did before. He leaned forward towering over her, he grabbed her chin forcing those perfect set of eyes to stare directly at him, that feeling was back, the eyes were making him weak, he began breathing hard sending the breaths through his nostrils. "I will text you what restaurant I want you at and what time I want you there. If you understand and agree to tell me yes."
"Yes." She quickly replied.
Her chin still cuffed between his thumb and index finger. "I'm going to stand up you will remain kneeling in front of me. You will watch me walk away and when I am completely out of your office you may get up and move freely. If you understand and agree to tell me yes."
"Yes."
Aubrey dropped her chin from his light grasp and stood up, his pelvis inches from her face, he stepped to the side of her and began his calculated steps towards the door Lori kept her eyes on him watching him as he instructed, he pulled open the door and walked through it, she quickly stood up tossing herself onto the couch in the same space he once occupied, she covered her eyes with both hands and took several deep breaths trying to calm herself.
