In the Rose Garden
Days after the shocking incident with the stranger, Niki remained uneasy. On impulse, she went to the rose garden, thinking that the quiet and the pretty flowers might soothe the agitation that seemed to surface with her mysterious attacker. She was oddly titillated by the incident, but she could not squelch the almost rabid fears…what if it happened again? What if next time the man didn’t deliver her home safely? What if she was really hurt?
