chapter 3 Executions and decisions

“Well, it ends today thanks to his sister we can seek justice for our brother and friend. But I will not be the one to kill you, Mike.” I spoke with venom and anger in my voice.

Cole was such a happy and nice person. He would always joke with us. His smile always made everyone around him happy and sometimes he pulled pranks on us. He was such a talented guy, and we miss him every day.

“I will be the one to kill you bastard for killing my best friend and brother. I have waited for this day ever since I heard about his death.” Charles spoke with pure anger and hatred in his voice.

Claire cried while hearing what we said. She looked so happy but so sad at the same time. And Celia looked like she knew something but kept quiet. Which could only mean one thing. And that is that either she is going to kill him herself or Cole is alive but is hidden somewhere. This is interesting. I hope she tells us what it is soon. Claire smiled at Charles.

“Well, the truth is out anyways so there is no point in keeping quiet about it. Yes, I killed gamma Cole because I found out that he was a traitor working for not only the council but other packs that’s why I killed him!! We cannot trust someone who isn’t loyal to his alpha.” Said Beta mike.

Alpha Zachary nodded while smiling at his beta looking proud and happy with the answer, he gave us. Which only angered me and my friends more then we already were. But this time we got surprised because we never knew that he would attack the beta. Raphael who stood beside Talon suddenly attacked the Beta and kicked him straight in the face and broke his nose. I must say that we felt both surprised but also proud. Raphael was the one who taught Cole how to fight etc. Of course, it angered him to death knowing that a weak Beta was the one who killed his student. But that was not all I knew that Raphael wanted to prove to us that the beta didn’t fight gamma Cole in a fair fight but used tricks to kill him. The alpha got mad at this and tried to stop them, but Talon held him down together with another warrior. But what we saw later made our blood boil both me and my friends got furious at what we saw. The beta partially shifted so that he could use his wolfs claws and when Raphael ran straight at him to kick him in his ribs, mike dodged the attack and stuck his claws straight inside the side of raphs stomach. But that wasn’t what made us angry it was the fact that the wounded didn’t heal and by the smell we knew straight away what he had done but what he also didn’t know was that Raphael wasn’t a werewolf so it would never hurt him which meant that Raphael stopped his own wound from healing to prove a point which only angered us further. He had f*****g put wolfsbane on his claws to weaken his opponents wolf so that it would be easier to kill them in their human form while they are weak. It was a smart move, but it was also forbidden to use this trick. Which meant that the beta knew this but did it anyways which now means that he is not mine to deal with but Celia’s. I think she knew this and was happy about it. I don’t think anyone knows that not all council members are werewolves. Well, no one have ever survived after knowing the truth like the saying goes “Dead men tell no tales.” Which is why no one knows the true power behind us as the council which is great, and it will stay like that for a while longer until I have been to the alpha meeting for all alphas which is soon. I must see which alphas are bad and which are not so that I know which ones I must investigate and execute if necessary. I just hope that it won’t come to that. But the time to reveal our identity have come. And its time to put the pack alphas in their place and show them that the royal line is still alive. I may have been reborn but that doesn’t mean that the royal blood running in my veins from my first life would disappear on the contrary it has grown stronger over time and now that I have finally awoken all my powers and my royal blood its time for me to make an appearance to those fools to show them who is in charge. And those who are against me well let’s just hope it won’t come to that. Because this time I will not be so kind because of my last lives I have learned to not trust anyone outside of my pack and friends. I will never trust my mate or mates either. I will never do that mistake again and neither will my wolf but this time she has me to protect her until my last breath this I swear to our mother the goddess herself. And I shall not fail this time. I will show them what happens when they mess with me or my pack members including my brother and friends. I look forward to the alpha meeting that is in six days from now. This could either get interesting or just pure ugly. Well, if they disrespect me or my pack members, I shall show them why you should never anger a royal. This time I shall succeed and live until I grow old. After Raphael had showed us his point Celia stepped forward and hit beta mike on his neck so that he got knocked out. Then the warriors put the chains and collar around his neck, hands, legs. The chains are made in both silver and wolfsbane which weakens the person and his wolf. It also burns the skin it touches if you are a werewolf. The warriors then took him away. Talon kicked Zachary on his leg, so he was kneeling on both legs, and I walked forward so that I stood in front of him then I saw Celia stepping forward giving me our famous execution weapon which was the legendary moon sword which the moon goddess herself made and gave to the royals a long time ago to punish those who angered her. We the royals are the guardians of this sword and only a pure-blooded royal can wield this sword. The sword is magical and disappears of its guardians dies. But this time it’s different because the sword only comes when called on except now because I made Celia the keeper of the sword which means that it was her job to guard and keep it safe until I got reborn once again. We only made the sword go into a deep slumber before I died so that it wouldn’t disappear. The royal pack from my first life was named the royal moon pack but it no longer exists due to the person I trusted the most was the one not to only kill all my pack members but also drove me and my wolf insane with rage and I would kill everything that stood in my way. Until I was stopped. But enough of that thought. I have to wake up the sword now.

“Now, I will begin the ceremony to awaken our legendary sword back to life.” We spoke.

I used my wolf power to shift my fingers to claws then I cut my wrist and put it above the sword so that a few drops of my blood got on the blade.

“I Alpha Lexa Alexa blackwood and the last Royal queen hereby takes my claim on this sword once again, awake from your slumber and help me punish those who have broken our laws and angered your maker the moon goddess once again. I call upon our blood contract and as your guardian I now command thy to wake up!!” I spoke using my alpha and royal tone while speaking.

As I spoke, I felt the familiar vibration of the swords powers. After my speech was done, I felt the sword awaken and my blood disappeared because the sword needs to feel my blood and if it deems you worthy it will serve you until the next generation. After a while the blade on the sword got the nice color of gold with a silver crown as the smiths mark. If the sword sees you as worthy, it will shine a beautiful golden color and the mark of a man or woman on her knee holding the sword towards the moon at the scabbard. And now that the sword had awaken from its sleep it was time to punish the former alpha of the ocean green pack.

“Do you have any last words to say before I execute you?” I spoke.

“Yes, I will never forget this, and my friends will gladly take revenge and hunt you down for killing me.” He laughed. While smiling sadly at his daughter who stood a few meters away looking sad. Well, I could care less what she feels or thinks because she is next.

Then I took my sword and raised it in the air then I said:

“I hereby punish you Former alpha Zachary of the Ocean green pack to death for killing your fated mate and killing an innocent woman and treating your people unfairly. I will now execute this man for his evil deeds and free your wolf from harm, for he shall not be held accountable for your crimes as he shall return to our mothers side again. Farwell and rest in peace may the goddess be with you, you poor wolf, as for your human he will go straight to hell.” I boomed out with my alpha voice.

Then I beheaded him. And his soul went straight to hell while his wolf went back to the goddess or at least that was what was supposed to happen but instead they both went straight to hell which means that his wolf wasn’t innocent which only means one thing and that is that our mother didn’t deem him innocent which was too bad. After that I turned around and looked at Melissa who was crying and whimpering for losing her father.

It was then that I heard it. That sweet angelic voice of the moon goddess.

She said: well done my child, sadly his wolf wasn’t innocent as you hoped, now you need to punish the others. I have a warning don’t trust anyone outside of your pack and friends if you don’t want to die again.

Then she disappeared. After I heard what she said I felt the anger inside me rising to the surface which my friends noticed so they told the warriors to burn the corpse and then take away Melissa. Then they walked to my side and then they all hugged me and whispered sweet nothings and cooed me to calm down. I took a few calming deep breaths in and out and then after a while I calmed down and then they let me go and smiled at me. I smiled back. what would I ever do without our family and friends? Alexa agreed with me. I decided then to use our original name to make our enemies come out of their hiding.

“What do you guys think if I say I want to use my original name? to make our enemies step out of the shadows once and for all?” I spoke.

“That doesn’t sound so bad. I agree what about you guys?” said Celia.

“It sounds dangerous sis, but I agree.” Said Charles.

“I agree sweetie on one condition you never endanger yourself without taking us with you.” Said Giovanni.

“I promise my friend.” I spoke.

“I agree sis.” Said Clarissa.

“I agree sweetheart.” Said Dimitri.

“I also agree.” Said Damiano.

I will explain the order of the council members. As I’m the founder of the council and the queen, I’m the head of the council. And my original name is Alexa Bloodmoon.

Then after me we have our kind badass girl Celia who is my best friend. Then we have Charles who by the way is my brother therefore the prince and have the title as co leader. That’s means that Giovanni is the third because he joined after Celia. Giovanni is a kind and serious man. But as a friend he is the best you could have by your side. And the fourth is Clarissa and she is Giovanni’s younger sister. She is a fun and sassy girl who likes to pull pranks on people. Then we have the fifth Dimitri the way to calm and serious dude naw, I’m just joking he is calm, and he is also a jokester. He can also be like Charles a drama queen. But he is way too sassy for his own good sometimes. Then the last Damiano the bad boy, he is very cold and funny guy but when angered he is very cold, ruthless and cruel. But in our eyes, he is the sweetest guy we have ever met. And these are our dear friends that I got to know throughout my past lives, and they still stay with me like they have always done. Well, I should probably tell you if you didn’t notice but they are not werewolves and have longer life spans then werewolves do. But I will not reveal their secrets yet. Everything will be revealed at the alpha meeting in six days. I can’t wait. But for now, I must go to the pack hospital to see how my mate is doing because, so far, he is still alive but it's barely. I don’t think he will survive. That’s how weak our mate bond is right now, which means that we will lose him. What the goddess told me hasn’t left my mind. She warned me to not trust anyone outside my pack and friends, which means that it isn’t time yet to reveal my pack or my real identity as queen until I have defeated all my enemies that the moon goddess wants me to kill. I don’t need to know because the sword will show me when the time is right. if by any chance that one of the alphas on the alpha meeting is one of the guys, I must punish the sword will tell me. Let’s just say that the sword has a mind of its own and if one of the guys the goddess wants me to punish is close, I will feel it because the sword will change color and start to vibrate with power its like a compass except that it leads me to the bad guys that must be punished for angering our dear goddess. That’s why I’m not worried when or how I will find them because its easier to just sniff them out. I think I will have to discuss with my pack and friends what to do at the alpha meeting and then decide who is going to go with me. But first I must see my mate. I walk to the intensive care unit and there in the window I see him lying with tubes in his face and my guess is that he will die soon. It breaks our heart seeing our mate in this state but at the same time I can’t get the moon goddess warning outside of my mind which means that Luke isn’t meant to be with me and that’s why I will lose him. He may have been innocent, but he still didn’t do anything which is why the goddess is punishing him now. He is weak for an alpha wolf, and he isn’t healing either which means that his wolf is dead or to weak to heal them.

“Hi, do you know the patient?” said Margaret the nurse.

“Yes, he is my mate. how is he?” I asked it took everything in me not to cry but all both me and Alexa wanted to do right now is cry. But I held my emotions together so that I would not break down. At least not yet.

“Really. Well, his prognosis doesn’t look so good. The dagger was very close to his heart. We couldn’t get all the silver out of his system so I’m afraid to tell you that he might not survive the night.” She spoke sadly.

“Oh, well Thanks nurse at least you guys tried and that’s all that matters.” I spoke.

Then the nurse walked away to take care of her other patients. And when she was gone, I let my tears slip down my cheeks when I felt two muscular arms hugging me, I turned around and put my head on his muscular warm chest and letting myself break for my mate. it was my little brother who hugged me after all. After a while I stopped and took out some tissues from my bag that my brother held in his right hand. I stepped away from him and gave him the tissue. Because I didn’t have a mirror here so I couldn’t clean up myself. He took the tissue and cleaned my face from tears and snot. Then he threw it away in the garbage bin. We stood there looking at my mate for five minutes then I suddenly heard some beeping sound and looked at my mate who was having a seizure, so I screamed for a nurse. The doctor and nurse ran inside the room and held him down and then gave him a shot then she walked outside.

“I’m sorry to inform you miss but he will not make it. If you want to say something or take goodbye, you can follow me inside to do that now.” She spoke.

“Ok yes I want to say goodbye is it okey if my brother also comes?” I spoke with sadness.

“Yes, but you have to get dressed in hospital clothes first to protect the other patients from bacteria etc.” she spoke.

Then we followed her to get dressed after that we walked to my mates bed. I sat down on the chair on his right side with my brother sitting on his own chair beside me. I took my mates hand and that’s when I got surprised the mate bond was still there but the tingles like electricity wasn’t which was weird, so I asked Alexa.

`Alexa why is the bond still there but not the tingles?`

`I don’t know I tried reaching out to his wolf, but I can’t sense him or feel him its like he has disappeared. He isn’t dead but he isn’t alive either. Try holding the sword towards out mate and see if it can pick up on anything.`

I ended the mind-link with my wolf to try what she suggested. I called on the sword and it appeared then I took it beside my mate and that’s when I felt the same vibration I felt when I beheaded Zachary. This means that my mate is one of the guys the goddess wants me to punish. I asked Charles to wake him up and take him outside to execute him. If the goddess has deemed him guilty then it makes perfectly sense, why I barley feel the bond anymore. The goddess is punishing him and slowly takes away the bond between us. Charles takes everything out of Luke and then takes him outside to the pack ground. The whole pack is still gathered and when they see me and Charles walking to the middle, they know it’s not over yet. The look surprised to see that Charles carries Luke only to throw him down on the ground and that’s all it takes for him to wake up which means that he wasn’t dying at all he has fooled everyone including me which makes my blood boil in anger.

“We have something to announce to you all. And listen well this douche bag here has fooled you guys he isn’t weak at all or dying he has fooled you guys. And our mother the moon goddess is very angry at him right now therefore he will be punished. If the sword deems him guilty, he will be beheaded if the sword deems him innocent, he will be tortured until he dies instead. Now let’s begin.” I spoke using my alpha tone.

I put the sword down then I cut his wrist with the sword. Then I spoke again.

“If the sword turns pure white then he is innocent but if it turns pure crimson red then it means that he is guilty of choosing a mate that is not your fated and has chosen to betray the sacred bond and protecting his chosen mate and her father.” Charles spoke with anger.

Then he held Lukes arm above the sword, so his blood dripped on it. As soon as the blood touched the blade it turned pure dark crimson red. And the darker red it proves that the persons sins are more than one. And in this case, it did exactly that. Which means that he probably was in cahoots with the beta and alpha from the very beginning.

“Well look at that dark red color, this means that he isn’t only guilty of betraying the sacred mate bond but also other things. This means that he will share the same fate as your former alpha. I hereby sentence Luke to death right this instance.” I spoke with anger.

Charles then grabbed him and held him down then I spoke.

“I hereby sentence you to death and may you rest in hell for everything you have done and may the goddess show mercy upon your wolf. I ask thy to now help me to punish the guilty one in front of us. Now awaken your power and give out your punishment for this guilty one.” I spoke.

Then I raised the sword in the air when I felt it vibrate with power and then I beheaded Luke. And to my surprise the sword then shone a bright white light and then we all heard a voice say: Well, done my child. As for this child he will go to hell but due to his wolf being purely innocent I have decided to take his wolf back home again. And I have a warning for you people in this pack if you don’t stop being ignorant and stand up for yourselves you won’t survive what’s coming for you. Then the voice disappeared. But because of the angelic voice we all knew who it was. I was a little happy knowing that at least his wolf was innocent in all this. And I was also happy with the goddess praising me for punishing those who deserve it. Well now that it’s done, I must choose a new alpha for the pack, so I told them to gather. I saw a man in the back who looked like a warrior that caught my eye. I asked him to step forward.

“What’s your name and position in this pack?” I asked.

“My name is Michael Bellavia and I’m of alpha blood but my position in this pack is the head warrior my lady.” He spoke.

“Nice to meet you Michael I have heard of your last name before tell me if I’m wrong, but your ancestor used to be the head warrior of the royal moon pack, right?” I asked.

“That’s correct my lady. My family used to serve the royal family. It would have been my job to if they were alive.” He spoke sadly.

Well to see who my allies are I should reveal my original first name right.

“Well then, I have some good news for you, but my name is Alpha Alexa. Does that name ring a bell to you?” I spoke. If he remembers the name and is my ally, he won’t reveal anything more then that and hide in the shadows like his ancestors if he has been taught their history and fight techniques. I looked at Charles who looked at the man to see if he was trustworthy.

“Ok well I have to go now have a good day my lady.” He spoke.

Then he ran away from peoples eyes and stayed in the shadows keeping his eyes on me the whole time. Which meant that we could probably trust him. But before he can follow us to my pack Giovanni and Demitri must check him out first. I mind linked them and asked them to look at him and they agreed to do it immediately. After a few seconds they both showed up behind him and took him away with them. I knew that as long as he were like his ancestors he would never betray me but the goddess words about not trusting anyone else outside her pack and friends still rang clear as day in my head. Let’s just say that I will know soon if I can trust this man or not, and if he isn’t on our side but on my enemies side then I guess he won’t survive, and we would have another body to burn which would be a waste because the Bellavias have always been great warriors and are very strong. They could assassinate an alpha without anyone knowing that’s how much strength and power they have which makes them a perfect hidden warrior for the royal family no one outside of the royal family knows this. Because they always stay hidden but if I remember correctly the last Bellavias died protecting my parents in my first life, so this doesn’t make sense. Something is wrong why would a Bellavia still be alive today when they were all killed for being loyal to the royal family. The last of them died in my last lives so this doesn’t make sense. Well, it’s nothing they won’t figure out. Well now that Luke is dead, I asked Talon to burn his body and take his ashes and give them to Celia. He did the same with Zachary’s ashes. If you haven’t figured it out yet I guess, I can tell you Celia happens to be a hybrid. She is a mix between a witch and vampire, and she is very strong and powerful. And she needs the ashes for the future or something. Let’s just say that it isn’t pretty so lets just hope we won’t be needing it. After I watched talon burning the body I walked away to my brother and hugged him. He held me against his chest, and I buried my face there for a minute to calm down from everything. Then I stepped away and smiled at hm which he returned then our friends showed up around us and hugged us. Then I got the feeling that Dimitri was pissed at something and so did the others, so we walked toward him which led deep into the forest. When we were just a few meters away from the pack boundary we saw an old looking cabin and outside we a very pissed Dimitri punching a tree until it broke. We ran to him and hugged him which calmed him down. And after we felt like he was calm enough we let him go and asked what’s wrong.

“Well, that asshole was telling you the truth but sadly something is wrong he keeps repeating the same thing over and over again which doesn’t make any sense.” He spoke with frustration in his voice while grabbing his dark raven black shoulder length hair backwards in frustration.

“What did he say Dimitri maybe I know what it is?” I spoke.

“He said, you must protect the queen and keep Queen Alexandria safe no matter what. They can’t find her!” he spoke.

“No, it can’t be, no its impossible.” We screamed while sitting on the ground while holding my head in my hands. It's not possible she can’t be alive. It has been almost 200 hundred years since our first life. How can our mother still be alive? No, it’s impossible. I need to speak to him.

“What’s wrong sweetheart?” he spoke with worry in his voice.

“Well, that’s the name of the first queen of the royal moon pack, my original pack and birthmother. The Bellavias died protecting her and my father while I was kept hidden outside the castle. That’s the reason I died back then because, due to the loss of my family and pack and betrayal, both me and my wolf went insane with rage.” I spoke with sadness and anger in my voice.

“I’m sorry sweetie, but that’s the name he keeps repeating. And we can’t figure out why maybe you, Celia, will be able to find something we don’t.” he said.

“I will but you guys have to stay here until I’m back,” she said.

Then she walked inside the cabin and closed the door. While we waited outside, I walked to Dimitri, and he opened his arms. I ran to him and hugged him while burying my head in his chest.
