Eva POV My head. It’s pounding, like the worst headache I’ve ever had. I was sleeping so peacefully too. It started as a dull pressure, then steadily built up to be a steading pounding right behind my eyes. This bed is so soft, like an actual cloud. I don’t want to get up, but I can’t ignore the pain in my head any more, no matter how tired and lazy I feel. I slowly open my eyes, wincing at the light when it momentarily worsens the headache, but as my eyes adjust, I sit up in bed stunned. This isn’t my home. Where am I? I look around frantically, the headache hurting more with every turn of my head, but I’m too panicked to focus on the pain. This isn’t my room. This isn’t my home.
