Michael back away after we used both our Alpha tones.
"What do you think, since you became a fighter you can handle everyone. You seem to have too much confidence in yourself." Gabriel said.
"I don't have much confidence in myself, but if you are my opponent, I will win."
'Let him understand that he can’t win against us. Maybe this is the time for me to avenge the ills he has inflicted on me.' I said to Slade.

I can sense that even Claw is challenging Slade. It's a battle of dominance. Male wolves are more dominant especially if they have high ranks in the pack.
