Zane wastes no time getting Elara out of here. When we first arrived at the grove, I thought she was willingly sleeping with Kevin, but as soon as Zeus yanked him from the Jeep, I knew that wasn't the case.
When I peered into the Jeep, I was overcome with rage. Elara's body was beaten and marred with scratches and cuts. Dark bruises were forming on her thighs and her whole body was shaking.
I knew what had happened to her, but I didn't want to admit it. It was easier to turn my anger on Kevin. I knew Zane would take care of her. He has always be the best at that.
Zeus and I are stalking toward Kevin's body. Unfortunately, he survived the hit against the tree. He is groaning loudly as he attempts to get to his feet.
