Emily glanced at the address in her email and looked up at the building in question. Violet had asked Emily to do the photoshoot in Seattle, and when Emily had admitted she couldn’t afford to travel that far, Violet had paid for her train ride without asking questions.
Emily took a deep breath and entered the nondescript building in downtown Seattle. She’d researched Violet’s business and was fairly certain this was legit, but the suspicious part of her brain still wondered if this was too good to be true. And it had landed in her lap right when she’d needed it. The universe had never been that kind to her.
Entering a suite of offices, Emily rounded a corner to see a tall blond woman talking with a man.
