Waiting for the time to pass by quickly is such an excruciating pain for Edward. In almost every minute that passed by, he would glance numerously at his watch, checking the time to see if the clock strikes at four in the afternoon already. It was as though glancing on his wristwatch would quicken the ticking of the clock, and that it would magically fast forward the time in his hands.
Unfortunately four in the afternoon is still five hours away.
