10 When I woke the next morning, I wasn’t sure if Max’s illness and the fairy’s visit had been a dream. After Reine had disappeared, I’d wiped the floor and left Lonna and Max to their discussion and baby. Max assured me they would be safe, and Lonna already had Wolf-Lonna, her psychic double, on the prowl.
