The moon's Episode 1
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the small town of Raven's Peak, a sense of unease settled over its residents. It was a feeling they'd grown accustomed to, one that came with the approaching full moon.
In a small cabin on the outskirts of town, 22-year-old Emilia Grey felt the familiar stirrings within her. Her heart raced, her senses grew sharper, and her body began to ache with the transformation to come.
Emilia had learned to live with the curse, to adapt to the monthly shifts that turned her into a creature of the night. But she couldn't shake the feeling that this full moon would be different, that something was stirring deep within the forest, something that threatened to disrupt the delicate balance of her life.
As the moon rose high in the sky, Emilia surrendered to its call, embracing the transformation that would soon consume her...
Emilia's body contorted, her limbs stretching and morphing into those of a wolf. Her senses grew sharper, and her mind clouded with the primal instincts of the beast. She let out a mournful howl, feeling the wild freedom that came with surrendering to the moon's call.
As she prowled through the forest, Emilia caught wind of a strange scent – something musky and unfamiliar. She followed the trail, her curiosity piqued, and found herself at the edge of a clearing. In the center stood an ancient, gnarled tree, its branches twisted and tangled in a way that seemed almost... deliberate.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. Tall, broad-shouldered, and impossibly handsome, with piercing yellow eyes that seemed to see right through her. Emilia's instincts growled a warning, but her human mind was intrigued.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
The stranger smiled, his lips curling up in a way that sent shivers down Emilia's spine. "I am Luca," he said, his voice low and husky. "And you, little wolf, are a mystery I aim to unravel."
Emilia's hackles rose, but she felt a spark of curiosity ignite within her. Who was this stranger, and what did he want with her?
Luca took a step closer, his eyes never leaving Emilia's. She could feel the weight of his gaze, like a physical touch. "You're different from the others," he said, his voice low and husky. "Your scent is... unique. A mix of wild and tame, of freedom and restraint."
Emilia's instincts growled a warning, but her human mind was fascinated. No one had ever described her like that before. "What do you want from me?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
Luca smiled again, his eyes glinting in the moonlight. "I want to understand you, Emilia. I want to know what makes you tick, what drives you to roam these woods under the full moon."
Emilia hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But there was something about Luca that put her at ease, something that made her want to trust him. "I'm cursed," she said finally, the words tumbling out in a rush. "I was bitten when I was a teenager, and now I'm stuck like this. A monster, forever bound to the moon's cycle."
Luca's expression softened, his eyes filling with a deep empathy. "You're not a monster, Emilia," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "You're a survivor. And I think I can help you."
Emilia's ears perked up, her heart racing with a spark of hope. Could this stranger really help her? Or was he just playing her, using her for his own purposes?
