CHAPTER 9

Manik hugged his father and tears are rolling from his father...

Raj I'm so happy Manik.

By seeing father and son ...the puppy lion started jumping...

Manik breaks hug..and meanwhile.. puppy jumped on Manik. As expressing it's happiness.

Manik : lion have you listen .. Puppy making noise as yes..!! And started jumping crazily ..

Raj smiled seeing it..

Manik pov :- I should say this to Meni !!

Raj :-you need rest go to bed. And morning we have to go hospital.

Manik slept thinking about Nandu..!!

Puppy sneaks from Manik room and saw flower vase

And trying to hold properly with it's mouth. After holding properly it started running from Malhotra Mansion.

Murthy's house;-

Amms:- what happened Kanna !! Why you are looking so low!

She laid down keep her on Amms laps

Nandu:- I don't know Amms...as Manik said...even I'm not able say myself as I'm fine.

Amms:- Don't take stress..

Nandu :- hmm.

Amms:- ( smiled) I have a good news for you..

Nandu looked at her immediately..

Nandu ( excitement ) really.

Amms;- yes !! Your monster going to see entire word. We are going to examine him and if all set.. tomorrow itself operation & even we informed this to Manik’s father .

Tears are rolling from her eyes with happiness...and hugged Amms with happiness.

Meanwhile they heard puppy barking.

Nandu( widened her eyes) lion!!!

Lion kept flowers down...and shared flowers to Amms and Nandu.

Nandu hugged lion;- you come to know that the monster going to see everyone ..

Lion made noise as yes!! And run towards Amms and took spectacles and Amms made lion to wear.. and lion jumping crazily as it doing dance..

Nandu and Amms... enjoyed quality time with lion..

Nandu:- lion u have to go Manik’s place otherwise he will worry about you, be careful it's too dark okay.

Lion:(- nodded his head as his saying yes)

Lion left murthy's house and started running..to reach Malhotra Mansion.

Malhotra Mansion;

Manik sat on sofa waiting for father, thinking about meni and Amms.

Manik pov ;- how to meet them I should say this happy news to them..

Meanwhile , Raj came:- Manik ...shall we go!!.

Manik :- Yaa dad!!

Raj :- okay we have still time we will have breakfast together in restaurant and afterwards we will can go hospital okay!!!

Restaurant :-

Raj made Manik sit properly on chair...and started having breakfast!!

Manik while have skips spoon and it falls on his shirt..

All most noticed Manik as he did some crime..

Raj felt embarrassing..

Raj:- !! Come let's go we have to go now

Manik :- but dad!!

Raj :- not a word Manik.

Hospital

Manik and Raj reached hospital and they didn't talked any word after that incident...they walked towards hospital...and talked to doctors regarding operation.

And informed about necessary tests ..

Doctor said to nurse to take Manik for test and nurse understood some thing behind his words and smile as saying yes she taken to Dr.sujatha's ( Amms) cabin...and made Manik to sit on chair...

Meanwhile Nandu entered into the cabin...but Amms got emergency call she left cabin before entering.

Nurse smiled seeing Nandu .and signaled nurse ...not to speak. Nurse left cabin not making any noise.

Nandu slowly moved towards Manik...she about to close his eyes..( before she close his eyes)

Manik ( smiled brightly and said) meni..

Nandu ( shocked ) how did you know??

Manik : don't know, how, but your presence brings some kind positive vibes.!! So I can guess easily..

She sat on front of table and held his hand..

Nandu:- congratulations monster !! Finally you are going to see entire world.

Manik tighten his grip:- I want to inform you first ,but !!

Nandu:- it's fine Manu!! I can understand...ha!! Don't forget to give party to me..

Manik ( smiled).:- how did you know that I'm here

Nandu:- you know ....it's magic.

Manik:-Yaa you are the magic.

Nandu noticed stain on his shirt and ..

Nandu :- Manu get up..!!

Manik:- what???

Nandu:- arey yaar get up..

She made him to stand forcefully...took to washroom and cleaned stain.

Manik understood why his father took away from restaurant...and felt bad for it.

She made him to stand near hand dryer and in second every thing seems perfect.

Nandu:- now perfect.

Manik( smiled at her) you are just like my mom

Nandu smiled ...and again made him to sit on chair in cabin.

Nandu :- so had breakfast?

Manik ( sad) ;- hmm.( He said yes even though feeling hungry)

Nandu understood that he is saying lies,but she didn't asked anything.

Nandu :- it's okay eat again...I brought breakfast for you.

She opened tiffin box..

Manik:- no meni..

Nandu: I prepared a specially for you

Nandu started feeding.

Manik :- hmm yummy but what is this I haven't taste before.

Nandu :- Mr. North Indian...it's South Indian breakfast idle.

Manik :- so your from South India.

Nandu:- finally you got to know something about a bout me.

Manik( annoying tone) at least now you can say your name right!!

Nandu:- I never ever breaks my promise and who said to shout on me on that day when we first time...so it's your punishment I won't say my name...and I'm not stopping you to find my name

Manik;- see one day definitely I will get your name.

Nandu:- oh god! Mr. monster how can you talk like ..this have first.

She started feeding complete tiffin .and made him to drink water

Meanwhile nurse knock the door.

Nurse:-excuse me madam!! Doctor asking about Manik Malhotra for testing.

Before Manik could stand...she placed hand on his shoulder.

Nandu:- just five minutes nurse.

Nandu stood from table and cupped his face...and pecked his fore head and tears are rolled from his eyes and felt something in his heart ( she first time reacted such a way)

Manik became emotional ..stood from chair and hugged her..

Nandu:- all the very best Manu!! Come soon don't make me wait.!!

Manik break hug :- Yaa I will.

Don't leave my side meni!!

Nandu:- I won't it's my promise.

Nandu held his hand ...walked out from cabin..

Nurse took Manik for testing ...

Nandu went back to cabin...and tears are rolling from her eyes!!

Meanwhile Amms entered into cabin ...placed hand on her shoulder and immediately hugged Amms .

Amms:- don't worry Kanna... everything is fine and even test reports got as we wished...Manik can undergo operation immediately ...their no minute problem.

Nandu breaks hugged and smiled brightly...

Amms;- Kanna !! U have exam today...have you forgotten about that.

Nandu:-aiyyappa!!but Manik

Amms: Don't we will take care of him...and driver is waiting for you..go fast.

Nandu:+ okay Amms bye

While going out from hospital she saw Raj Malhotra...he is going to drop medicines...and Nandu helped him.

Raj:- thank you baby!

Nandu:(she didn't know about Raj) it's okay uncle..

Raj taken 2 or 3 steps but Nandu call him back...she saw valet

She opened valet and it contains money and also Manik and Raj photo...she understood that he is Manik’s father.

Nandu:- uncle ...just a minute.

Raj:- what happened.

Nandu :- uncle I think its your valet.

Raj:- thank you beta!( He impressed by her nature)! And do you want anything...I promise I could give anything to you

Nandu:-its fine uncle no need ..if u Don't mind can I say one thing.

Raj:-sure!!

Nandu:-we should not do promise uncle when we don't have capable to stand on words ...and should not break promises

Raj felt her words as a slap...he remembered his promise ..

Flashback

Hospital..;

Doctor:- congratulations you can see your wife. And it's boy.

Raj: thank you so much..!!

Raj entered into room...and baby Manik in his hands..

Karuna smiled at him:- promise me Raj ..that you should take care of him and keeps him happy always.

Raj:- (smiled held her hand )it's our promise ..to our kid that we both together take care of him and keeps him very happy.

Raj:-haven’t you breaks any promise baby.( With smile and covering his sad)

Nandu:- Nandini Murthy never make promise...if she promise also she never ever breaks her promise.

Meanwhile driver came with car near Nandu.

Nandu suddenly hugged Raj:- all the very best uncle take care of yourself and your family..

Before he could give reply,

She disappeared within blink.

Raj stood their like a statue...as she is human or angel.

Raj ( whispered ) Nandini Murthy never ever breaks promise...!! Interesting girl..!! God bless you Nandini Murthy
