CHAPTER 14

Jagadesh and his wife left Mumbai...Manik purchased himself some clothes ... days are passing like clouds And Manik, trying his to find job but he didn't find anything it becoming difficult to eat also with out Money. But he is taking care of Parth and lion so well...and he spent what ever left money he have.

Manager giving presentations... About project.

Raj ;- that's wonderful..

Manager:- but sir, it presentation made by Manik Malhotra.

Raj:- get out!!

Manager:- sure!!!

Raj :- I said get out...

RAj POV;- did I made mistake, from his child hood onwards still now he didn't asked for anything... He never failed as a son did I succeeded as a father...no Raj !! He did big mistake..

Neonika ,Mrs. Khurrana, Soha ...partying every day after Manik’s incident... And enjoying their life.

Neo ( drunken voice) I love you Soha ...only you are the reason for the party.

Soha: thanks aunty...but serious he tough nut to crack...

Mrs. Khurrana:- leave that nonsense ....let's enjoy party!!!!

It's has been two days he didn't had anything and he forgot his hunger also...he found 50? in pocket... He thought to bring something for lion.

Lion is not at all allow him to go...behaving cranky.

Manik;- lion please, let me go... I don't have patient to handle you.

Parth(parrot) :- lion don't worry,, I will go along with Manik ..

At last lion agreed to send him along with Parth.

After purchasing. ..little food for lion. He walking slowly ..and parrot is following him..

Parth : boss!!

Manik:- hmmm..

Parth:- do you have any crush or love ???

Manik gave shocking look to him..

Parth : why are you giving such look ..don't say that lived that bloody creature Soha!!

Manik Laughed his questions..

Manik: I don't have such things..

Parth :- then who is meni..

Manik startled ,stood with shock:- “how do you know about this name".

Parth;- I listened so many times when you were taking here name in sleep. Who is she...??

Manik:- she is my best friend... Unreached destiny of mine and my music .if she were not my life...I never used to strong myself. I would have be in darkness ,cruel,immature..only she is the reason ..of my living...

Parth:- how she looks ?where is now??

Manik ( tear dropped from his eye) I don't know Parth but for me she is integral part of mine..

Parth :- do you love her...

Manik( smiled) I'm not that much lucky to have such a great thing in my life...these things are as far as stars for me...( he started to walk lazily)

Parth:- do you know one thing after coming here... I fallen in love.

Manik:- hahahaha. ...seriously!!

Parth:- beautiful red parrot ...my Niti..

She lives in trees near our house. And so independent... I never ever cross such parrot and self trained in talking ..I never forget her sweet voice..!!!

Manik is hardly controlling is laugh. He thought not to hurt his tiny buddy..

Parth ;- boss be here ...I will come again just 5 mins.

Manik : arey listen..

Parrot flied away saying 5mins..

As soon as Parth left Manik burst in laugh. Remembering Parth words and his description about Niti parrot suddenly felt dizziness,, he lost balance. He fallen on road ,,one car about to him...but due to sudden break of driver.. car stopped in front of him. But Manik lying on road lifelessly..

Girl voice:- driver what happened..

Driver explained situation.. The girl came out from car..and tears are rolling from her eyes...and whispered:- Manik.

She took his head ...in lap : Manik get up...please tears are not stopping from her eyes...and she held his and felt little warm...mean while Parth came their..

Parth :- what happened to my boss..

Girl looked at parrot surprisingly.

Girl ( rubbed her tears) ;- it's nothing it's due to slight fever..

Parth :- can you drop my boss and me till home..!!

Girl nodded as yes driver helped her to take Manik inside the car as soon as made him comfort on bed in his home, she informed doctor to said address as soon as she cut call...the lion started barking jumping around her with happiness.!! Parrot looking at girl & lion...she kneel down in front of dog ruffles head and pecked it's head

Parth ;- hey this is Parth ..

Girl :- ( smiled) Hai Parth nice to meet you

Parth :- do you know my boss and lion.

She sat beside Manik held his hand ..looking at him and tears are not stopping from her eyes...and kissed his Manik’s forehead.

She ignored Parth words..

She looked entire house .and said driver to bring grocery ..and immediately brought things which she said...she cooked something for lion and gave little food to Parth ...and prepared juice..

Meanwhile, doctor came checked Manik and said that ..he has slight fever due to weakness...and gave injection

Doctor said “due to injection... He can't wake now..let him sleep and in between made him take juice”.

She nodded as yes. Doctor left home.

She made him to drink juice careful with spoon. ...literally she treating him as a small baby.

Her mobile started ringing.. She moved towards corridor and received call.

Girl :- hello Nandini Murthy speaking.

Nandu;- today night I'm not coming to home..

Call ends ..

When she came ...noticed lion and Parth sleeping.. And she sat beside Manik looking at him with out blinking her eyes...she kept her head on heart started crying..

Nandu POV:- I miss you Manu...don't bring such stunts again, I never let you go Manu. I promise I will not allow anyone to snatch you from me...its promise why you didn't come back...do you know...I used come Mumbai...every Sunday.. To see you. When I came to know about you, that you came here...to see me..why you didn't come again...

She sat properly ..rubbed her tears you need punishment badly monster ...for not turning back again .

She took mobile from his pocket... And took his number.

Entire night she passed night admiring Manik...

In early morning ,she prepared breakfast for Manik...and also prepared food for lion. And arranged fruits for Parth, kept small card ...

and she left home....while going she arranged guards to observe Manik.

As soon as she left Parth wake up its fly away from Window ...its daily to him to meet Niti parrot...

Around 8 am Manik opened his heavy eyes lazily.. He remembered how he fallen on road...immediately Sat on bed...looked at his surroundings and noticed empty Juice glass...and went to kitchen shocked seeing neatly arranged kitchen...and vegetables also fruits and juice also with delicious aroma breakfast

And searched entire house did not found any one..

And went to his bed room and found small note...

Mr. Manik Malhotra,

Ur count down starts from now...get well soon...don't think much have your breakfast.. And tablets which is on table.

Manik POV...who is this...should I take it as advice or warning God!! What’s going on in my life.
