"Find her!" I scream again at my Beta, even though I know he has no fault. This is all on me. If I wouldn't have rejected her and locked her in a prison, she wouldn't have felt so scared to run away from me.
Anger still fills my veins as I think about how she ran away with that filthy rogue. I kept him alive because he seemed so scared when I caught him on my territory, that I actually felt sorry. I thought about keeping him locked for a mouth as a lesson and then let him go. And he stole my mate. May the Moon Goddess have mercy on his soul if he falls into my hands again.
