Seraphine’s POV
The new week had started, and the council meeting from the day before remained wrapped in a cloak of secrecy. Storm, Draven, Jareth, Valerian, Nikolai, Liz, and I had returned from the council meeting and had been unusually tight-lipped about what took place. After the meeting had finished and every returned to the party, sometime after, we all went our separate way.
Today,though, I found myself walking towards the school, not as a student but as a teacher. I was a 200-year-old vampire inside the body of an alpha male, teaching at a high school—a result of the celestial event that had thrust me into Lucian’s body.
