Nate's POV.
Today was a very weird and surprisingly pleasant one. I definitely didn't expect to save a suicidal teenager on my usual morning run. I had been staying at my brother's beach house for a couple of days now.
I was trying to get over Aubrey, I was so sure that she was the one until she ditched me to climb higher up the social ladder. Seemed that owning a my own growing business didn't satisfied her drive to be successful in life.
I know she was one of those socialites. But I thought I had her, with all the sexy times that we had. She was beautiful and very passionate towards me, I showered her with all the things that she wanted. She wasn't brought up wealthy, so I just thought maybe that made her money hungry and I thought that it would fade with time as we get more serious.
