While I was washing the dishes, she started talking,
"I know you think we are being harsh on you" she said in a much calmer and hushed tone. Maybe she did not want Dad to hear our conversation .
I smiled slightly to show that I was listening and willing to understand.
"But your Dad is really worried, this is how your brother behaved before he left and he is scared of losing you too" she said as she moved closer to me.
Now I felt really bad that I was causing so much pain in my house, I just wanted everything to be alright at home.
